Disobedience

Are you having trouble with a disobedient dog? Is your dog annoying you or others? You can find dog training tips to help solve these problems here!

If your dog is not obeying a command because he doesn't understand, that does not mean it is a behavior problem. It means you need to spend more time training him.

This is pretty dangerous for your dog, for example: if he was running towards the road, and you were saying, "come!" If he ignored you, he could quite possibly be hit by a car.

There is nothing more scary than seeing this firsthand, with your dog or your child! Believe me I have been there. If you are in this position, you need to do whatever you can to prevent it from happening again. You need to get to the root of the problem, which is your dog does not respect you as the pack leader.

Your whole home life will change significantly once you and your dog are trained properly.

Pack Leader

The pack leader in the wild is the alpha. If your dog did the above, he is telling you he is the alpha male, the pack leader. This means you listen to him. Makes sense, doesn't it! Now we need to correct this! Your dog will be much happier when he has someone else to guide him, and discipline him. Think of him as a child. Any child is going to be happier and well adjusted if he/she has rules, limits, and discipline.

Dog Training Tips For Disobedience

You need to show him you are the pack leader. One way to do this is to make sure you are first. If you are leaving the house, make him wait for you to go through the door first. If you are getting out of the car, make him wait for you to get out first. This is typical alpha behavior, the alpha male is always first in the pack. Make him wait until you release him.

Make him wait for his food. You eat first. If you are getting his food, make him sit at the bowl to wait. You put the food in, and you release him.

I purchased a dog training guide and it was a lifesaver! I wanted to pass this invaluable information onto you.

Puppy House Training

If you are reading this paragraph, you are probably pretty frustrated right now! I was in this spot last year, I was pregnant, on medical leave because I was high risk, and had 2 puppies at home to take care of! Let me just say frustrated was not the word I would use to describe how I felt!

Puppy house training definitely takes patience. The best tip I can give you is to crate train and not paper train. I believe if you paper train, you are just adding one more step to the process that you don't need. After all once your puppy learns she needs to go on the paper, you are going to have to teach her to go outside!

It just seems a little silly to me. Start out with crate training and you will also enjoy the fact that your dog will not give you a hard time when you need to leave her for a while in it! She will feel so comfortable, she will run into it wagging her tail.

Puppy House Training Tip #1

Make sure the crate is big enough for the puppy to get up and turn around in. It shouldn't be too large, because the puppy may use the other end as a bathroom, and you don't want this! If the crate is the right size, dogs, by nature do not relieve themselves where they sleep.

Puppy House Training Tip #2

Put the crate in the hub of your house, this way she won't feel like she is left out of everything. Dogs are social animals and need to feel like they belong.

Puppy House Training Tip #3

Take her out every 20-45 minutes. In the beginning I was taking our puppies out every 30 minutes. I never got anything done in the house! I didn't have messes though!

I purchased this guide and it was a lifesaver! You deserve the help as much as I did. The Ultimate House Training Guide. It is an instant download for only $19.95.

There is a 56 day money back guarantee, so if you find this program does not help you, you can get your money back! This is a risk free way to house train your dog!

Oh thank goodness my Bobo is so obedient! I used to discipline him with only raising my eyebrows. Kinda what my mom used to do. No spanking required. :D
