I have been giving my pets the Rival dog biscuits made in Red Bay , Al please comment on safety of this product . They have already cosumed 1 bag before i discontinued use.
I'm amazed at all of the facts you have here. This is a great resource - I have sent it on to a few of my friends.
I'm glad I can be of help to you. I have several more products review, which I haven't had the chance to get posted. Keep watching. I'll get caught up one of these days.

AN ENDEAVOR FOR AN AMERICAN TRUTHCALLING ALL PURINA CAREGIVERSWOULD YOU PLEASE TAKE A POLL?http://itchmoforums.com/index.php?topic=441.0
Once, and if, the Poll has amassed enough statistics, my plan is to send the examples to Purina and the FDA, with the hope that the food would be examined, and a recall made, instead of the "withdrawal" of selective foods. There are far too many American dogs, cats and small animals who have become ill and passed, and in my opinion, there are far too many NEW cases of pets BECOMING ILL while eating food products, which have NOT been RECALLED. And, it appears THIS is NOT random, as the timing is just too coincidental with the recent contamination fiasco.Initiating this Poll is an endeavor to see if numbers will step up, so I can print out conclusive examples to forward, along with my name only, unless you want your name included, to Purina and the FDA. A second goal is to find out about the food, i.e. gluten, flour, nutritional supplements, etc. and if it could possibly be contaminated, as Purina sources "important nutritional supplements" and "wheat gluten" from China. http://www.purina.com/recallFAQs.aspPlease, help this cause for RECALL. One is such a lonely number against such a huge conglomerate.Sincerely,Donna
P.S. I took the poll myself and found out I set it up wrong. If you are willing to participate, please post your comments. If you would like your comments to remain confidential, please use the email supplied. Thank you.
Pedigree Super Chew is given a 10/10 score but the Petsmart listing for it shows the following ingredients:
Wheat Gluten, Corn Oil, Wheat Flour
amongst a bunch of other nasty stuff.
Hi, my little 12 yr. old Yorkie has been sick for about 2 weeks. Because of work cutbacks, I didn't have enough money to get him to a vet, so I am looking for a vet with a big heart here locally near Leesburg Florida. Since I have to do something, I started taking notes of his symptoms. Gastric upsets, vomiting water after drinking, with mucous & a yellow color in the thrown up water, diarreha periodically, and lethargic. Thanks to your information, I realized it could be something he was eating: Every day he gets a "Pedigree BREATH BUSTER". and seeing so many Pedigree products on this site, I immediately stopped giving him these. Then I gave him cooked chicken bits w/ brown rice - about 4 TBSP. because he could not keep food down. The first time, he wasn't interested, but then I added a tiny bit of chicken stock, & he became a little interested. I read on the internet to give him unflavored plain yogurt, so added that - 2 TBSP. & he finally licked that off my palm. But he kept throwing up the water, so I put a few cups of unflavored Pedialyte from baby department at Walmart in a sterilized water dish. So far, so good. He has started coming around. I have now been nursing him for about 4 days & his personality is returning, but he is still not 100%. He loves to be rocked in my rocking chair, so I have tried that now that he is feeling a bit better. He is holding his own & I am feeling a little less scared. I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING HAVING TO DO WITH KAL KAN, INC. AGAIN. I can't believe they actually manufacture things that could actually kill my great little companion. These clowns should be arrested and hung in the town square. Thank goodness this site peaked my suspicious suspicion. I would have never know they are crooks! I have written my Senator, my Representative & our Governor & President. Dog Owners...UNITE!
I just went back in my appointment book & about a year ago, I took my little Yorkie in for a dental cleaning appointment. Dr. called me at work, said come & get him, can't do it, his kidneys are not good enough. He also said he was dehydrated & needed hydration under the skin & it was serious. He had several sessions, & he improved. This cost me a fortune. I remember during that time, he was eating PEDIGREE SMALL CRUNCHY BITES. I now see the connection. THESE GREEDY JERKS HAVE BEEN POISONING OUR DOGS IN THEIR QUEST FOR THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR. This is WAR! I didn't know it was the dog food at the time but fortunately, around that time I switched him to Beneful. Has anyone had problems with that dry dog food?? (little crunchy bites)
are you kidding? beneful the worst food in the world ck it out
I'm not sure I'm on board with you Susan...unless I'm misreading the danger gauge....you're telling us that Pedigree Super Chew Dog Treat gets a 10/10, same as Halo, better than Wellness?
Try reading this, it give a link to a site that rates dog food:
