Doggone Dream

Unreal dreams
1.Do dogs dream?
2.Can a dog transfer his dreams to a human?
3. Are dogs psychic?
Sound like a silly questions, but a few months ago, a strange phenom occurred. I was taking a nap and in a dream, I was running on all fours, running alongside my dog. We were chasing...a cat! OK That's not the strange part ...but when I awoke, guess who decided to take a nap right next to me? ( good guess)
That alone would not bother me but three days ago, I was dreaming about a beautiful Jack Russel pup with dark markings. I woke up with ( you guessed it) right next to me AGAIN!!
Turns out within that same day, I met a woman walking her pup...with similar markings I had dreamt about. So which one of us is the psychic?

Your dog knew you were in distress! I have had several cats in my life and two of them stood out above the rest. They were very much in tune with my feelings.

Animals are as likely to be psychic as people. Cats especially. My cats always knew when something was up.
One of the great things about my cat is that if I am having a nightmare, he will come wake me up. I'm sure that's more direct observation, my breathing changes and I look scared, but it's still sweet of him to do it.
I had a dream in high school, a nightmare about being attacked by thousands of golden lion marmasets. In the dream my dog Lucy was barking and snapping at them and defending herself too, we were on the bed. I flailed around hitting the little animals and throwing them across the room, trying to get them off me while they bit and scratched both of us.
Then I woke up slamming a pillow hard right next to my dog -- and not on her. I had been beating the bedding and she was barking for real. But perhaps because my unconscious could feel her weight on the mattress, even with my eyes shut I managed not to hit her at all. She was barking to wake me up!
