Dolly Partons Dixie Stampede Florida

After visiting any of the many theme parks that Orlando has to offer, you would think that you had enough fun and excitement in one day to last you a life time, but when you have left the parks after a fantastic day, the adrenaline is still pumping through your body leaving you itching for more.

After you have had a shower and a change of clothes it's time to go out for something to eat, the children were still hyper and all you hear out of their mouths was Chuckie Cheese's, Chuckie Cheese's every night was the same,not having anything like Chuckie Cheese in the UK the novelty never wore off, although we refused to take them there every night anyway,

Every day on our way to the theme Parks we passed a sign which said Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede Dinner And Show, and we wondered what it was, so this night out of curiosity we decided to go there and check it out.

What a fantastic evening we had there were live American buffalo and amazing horses, ostrich racing and pig racing, there was singing, dancing, comedy and even some of the audience were asked to take part,and to top it all off I must admit we had the best meal there of our whole vacation.

The meal consisted of four courses Rotisserie chicken, Hickory smoked barbequed pork, buttered corn on the cob, hot apple pie and drinks including beer and wine for adults and soft drinks for the children, who get a special kids menu.

All in all it was a great night out with great entertainment, a great meal and at a great price.

The children still asked for Chuckie Cheese every night after that but two years later they remember more about their one night at Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede than they do about their four visits to Chuckie Cheese.
