If you want the "Dog the Bounty Hunter" type Repoman to perform your repossessions, do not call us. We treat repossessions as business. Our Repo Agents are instructed to treat debtors as well as they will allow us to treat them. The conversation typically includes the comment, "You signed a contract that said you promised to pay X number of payments for X number of months until it was paid off or you would give the collateral back. Are you a person of your word or not." We don't like high drama because it often leads to litigation.

ELECTION 2010 - PLEASE VOTE
PLEASE VOTE - My first preference would be to advise you to learn about the candidates and then cast an educated vote. But to reflect the realities that exist and to encourage as many people to vote as possible I assert the FOLLOWING :
IF YOU LIKE THE WAY THINGS ARE, VOTE FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ALREADY IN GOVERNMENT REGARDLESS OF THEIR POLITICAL PARTY BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES THAT GOT US HERE; IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE WAY THINGS ARE, VOTE THEM ALL OUT REGARDLESS OF POLITICAL PARTY, BECUASE THEY ARE THE ONES THAT GOT US HERE. VOTE FOR PERSONS NOT ALREADY IN GOVERNMENT. IF YOU KEEP DOING WHAT YOU HAVE ALWAYS DONE, YOU WILL ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU ALWAYS GOT. IT IS TIME TO STOP THINKING DEMOCRAT VS REPUBLICAN AND START THINKING AVERAGE VOTER VS CORRUPT POLITICIAN. The people in government now and in the past are responsible for the way things are now, if you want change, vote for someone new. I am conservative and usually vote republican, but I do not like the way things are going. It seems to me that they have us arguing over things like abortion and gun control while they are robbing us blind. Do not get frustrated by the volume of hype and information. IF YOU LACK THE TIME TO STUDY EACH OF THE CANDIDATES THAT WANT TO REPRESENT YOU, JUST MAKE A LIST OF WHO YOUR CURRENT REPRESENTATIVES IS AND TAKE IT WITH YOU TO THE VOTING BOOTH. IF YOU LIKE THE WAY THINGS ARE, VOTE FOR THE CURRENT REPRESENTATIVES ON THE LIST YOU BROUGHT WITH YOU TO THE POLL; IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE WAY THINGS ARE, VOTE FOR WHOEVER IS RUNNING AGAINST THE PERSON ON YOUR LIST. IT IS THAT SIMPLE! JUST VOTE!

For those of you who want to put slightly more effort in deciding whom to vote for, the past I have summarized my beliefs this way : If you think you can take care of yourself, vote Republican. : If you think you need and want government helpt to make it through life, vote Democrat. (And yes, I realize the Republicans have not been acting like Republicans in respect to this perspective, but short of a viable 3rd party, they most closely reflect my perspective on these issues.)
A freind of mine recently sent me this email:
Subject: FW: A lesson on human nature
I was talking to a friend of mine's little girl the other day. I asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up and she replied, "I want to be President!" Both of her parents are liberal Democrats and were standing there. So then I asked her, "If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?" She replied, "I'd give houses to all the homeless people." "Wow - what a worthy goal." I told her, "You don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where this homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward a new house." Since she is only 6, she thought that over for a few seconds. While her Mom glared at me, she looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?" And I said, "Welcome to the Conservative way of thinking." Her folks still aren't talking to me.
