Using only his skills as a dwarven rifleman, who served under Jaina Proudmoore in the Burning Legion war, he brings the fury of his race to the battlefield. He's also an engineer who was capable of repairing cannon towers and making his own adjustments, improving them. Most of the scourge legions who've been unlucky enough to taste Kardel's firepower haven't lived to tell the tale. The dwarven sniper's allies in the sentinel forces are always shocked as he mounts up the kills before they can even reach the ghouls and necromancers of the scourge army. But is this dwarf powerful enough to strike down the heroes during the Defense of the Ancients as well, or has he finally met his match? Time will tell.

His attacks have the longest range, but he is also extremely fragile. Used well, a Dota player can have Kardel pick off enemy heroes from far away. Played badly, they will let enemy heroes sneak up on the sniper and continously eat him alive.

Take Aim: Kardel uses some of his engineering skills to improve his rifle. He begins the battle with the standard used by all dwarven rifleman, but with some twists and turns in the right places it is extremely more effective. Every level of this ability improves the range he can attack people from in Dota.

Assassinate: The sniper takes some time to properly aim his weapon. This isn't an instant ability, but it can be used from a far range. Scourge fear the sniper for this skill of his as his aim is deadly accurate. The Dota Kardel hero can do a large burst of damage from a long range, aiming it directly at someone's vital areas and perfectly predicting their movement, taking wind into effect. He can even do this while invisible to an undead eye!

Headshot: The rifleman is adds a little extra punch to his gunpowder. This sometimes causes enemies to feel a greater force from his shots. It might even temporarily cause them to flinch, breaking their concentration from any spell or ability they might've been channeling.

Shrapnel: The Dota Kardel hero can fill an area with the torn up shreds of a giant ball of shrapnel. The sniper fires it into the air with a specially created gun for this purpose, and it takes several seconds to fall onto the area. Anyone caught under it's spray take some damage and become significantly hindered in their movement, slowing them. It also deals a small amount of damage to any ancient buildings caught by Kardel's shrapnel.
