This witch's belief in the perfect harmony death brings as a human transcended her own death. Evil forces chose her to represent themselves on the world, allowing her to prophecize the doom of all around. Krobelus is able to cause enemies to become slackjawed as she describes in full detail their future fate. She uses her abilities to call upon long dead spirits to lay to rest everyone who lives. Her witchcraft abilities remained present as an undead banshee as well, and she uses them to augment her own powers whenever possible. She's especially powerful when attack any bases or buildings. Krobelus' evil spirits will home on in them, potentially destroying it much faster than an entire group of Defense of the Ancients heroes could. All the living ancient treants of the Sentinel forces fear her presence.

She is a unique hero in that it's primarily not her that does most of the damage. Krobelus needs to be stay alive while the ghosts she summons with exorcism whittle away at any enemies nearby. Unfortunately, she's also not built like a tank. There's plenty of different ways to play the dota death prophet.

Carrion Swarm: The Krobelus character sends a swarm of bats through the air. This green cone effect spell does damage to all enemies in it's area.

Silence: Stops any of enemies in the area from casting spells. Proper use of the silence skill will make the dota Krobelus hero extremely useful during group battles. However, most battlenet players tend to ignore using it.

Witchcraft: This skill is a passive ability that increases the death prophet's powers. Carrion swarm will be able to be used sooner, silence will affect a greater area, and she'll be able to summon more ghosts. This also used to increase her movement speed, but that effect is currently removed.

Exorcism: The Krobelus ultimate ability in dota. She summons a pack of evil spirits through her, using her own body as a portal to the netherrealm. They do heroic physical damage to any of her targets. Should she teleport away, all her spirits are destroyed. Krobelus has a limited amount of control over these spirits. They will tend to prefer whatever her locked-on target currently is, but they also attack anything else within 700 range of her. Upon their return to Krobelus, she is healed for a portion of any damage dealt by the evil exorcism spirits.
