Some may not know the reference but it is an important word to describe the thinking which is leading to world destruction.

You laugh but we will if we continue to think this way.

What is it that we're thinking? Under observation you'll find it easy to see that people act as if there's an infinite supply of everything. We use as if we are bound by no limits. Water, oil, topsoil trickle through our fingers as if they have no value in their diminishing supply. Our anger over paying a higher prices is diverted to those in charge. Republicans and Democrats are at fault. They in turn divert their blame farther away from the source. It's now the middle eastern people's fault. Or the Chinese. Farther from the source which is the people. Each individual who listens to Mother Culture's message that we can continue to abuse this Earth we live on. This Earth we live on cannot continue to stand our excess.

You've been told this before. In fact, you've known this for a very long time but it hasn't changed your actions. Mother Culture's call is too strong though. Your mind is twisted between thinking there are no limits and knowing there are. We live as capitalist, a system which tells us that material goods will make us happy, but know that the goods are limited. It dooms many to poverty and despair.

Just because we know deep down that not everything is limitless makes many of us miserable despite our happiness.

What's the cure? Cure the world and stop our act as if it will last forever. Cure our souls by finding happiness in non material sources. Make your happiness limitless and your actions conservative.
