Dove's visibly smooth deodorant

As women, we have been burdened with the obligation to shave our bodily parts to be sexy. Not only do we have to shave them, but once we start the shaving process, its a recurrent duty. Some of us only have to shave every other day, but like me, some have to shave everyday. It is such a nuisance that quite honestly, I may skip a couple days. My legs I can let go awhile, but my arm pits just won't wait. In a day, my pits grow enough hair to make it look like I haven't shaved in a week, become itchy and break out.

The company Unilever has researched for 3 years a way to make us ladies more comfortable with our arm pits. Dove Ultimate visibly smooth contains Pro-Epil Complex that contains natural extracts as well as 1/4 of Dove's translucent moisturizers. Unilever claims your arm pits are supposed to immediately feel smoother, within weeks show hair to be softer and finer, and over time be less noticeable.

But does it work? I purchased this product 4 weeks ago to put it to the test. After the first use, as with other Dove deodorants, does make you feel smooth. As far as making the hair finer and slowing the rate of growth, I have yet to witness it. Maybe it takes more time, or maybe it just doesn't work. However, I noticed that my skin is less irritated and there are less hair bumps when my hair grows in. I will continue to use it because it works great as an antiperspirant and deodorant and smells great. Plus I want to give Dove the benefit of the doubt since this is such a new product and give them more time to do what it says its suppose to.
