Dr Dentist and the Best Other Dental Games
80Dr Dentist Game
This is a great game for anyone who likes exploding teeth (don’t we all). That mouth looks completely healthy when you start but a lot of those teeth are not in great shape. You- the dentist- have to find out which are good and which are not. You get a big spinning drill to check them all out. It will also get rid of the bad ones.
So what are you waiting for? That patient needs your help!
Dental Damage
There is a great big wide open mouth here. When you start out, all the teeth are perfect but they don’t stay that way. Nasty green tooth decay germs start landing and growing. You need to zap then as quickly as you can.
When the teeth get too bad, it’s time for root canal treatment. This will save the teeth but you need to get a move on. If things go seriously wrong there is nothing to do but pull the bad teeth out.
You will need nerves of steel and highly skilled hands to save those teeth- just like a real dentist.
No fainting is allowing.
Glen Martins DSS Dental Adventure
This is a more realistic game. You are a dentist who can really help people with their teeth. There is lot to look out for though. You need to keep your patient comfortable. This means monitoring the amount of discomfort with a pain meter (and keeping it low). It means using laughing gas (makes you sleep) and Novocain (this numbs the teeth). It also means keeping the patient happy by finding some cool music that they like on the radio.
There are a lot of different patients here so get the needles ready and start doing some good!
Why Dentists are Better than Cannons
Spongebob Cavity Crisis
Even Spongbob Squarepants has trouble with his teeth from time to time. Of course, using a toothbrush always helps but is it too late? Nickelodeon will only let you play this game if you live in the US which I think is downright mean.
Mouth Power
This is a really great animation and game to learn about all the bad things that can happen to teeth. Learn about the horrors of tobacco (this will really gross you out) and the corrosive action of those wonderful candy bars that are so hard to resist.
Dental Space Odyssey
Just when you thought it was safe to enjoy that cookie (then wash it down with a cup cake) a game comes along to remind you that sweet things are hard on your teeth. But there are things that you can do! You can use plenty of toothpaste and a lot of brushing skill to defend your teeth from all those delicious snacks.
This game is similar to space invaders but here the baddies are sugar snacks and you need to zap them with toothpaste. I liked this game for its spacy music and cool rocket ship.
Dental Quiz
The American Dental Association provide this dental quiz on the benefits of tooth brushing. It is a good learning experience for younger children with questions like the ones below. I enjoyed the slightly crazy head that greets you. I don't think there is anything quite like it anywhere else! I only hope that it doesn't come alive and bite somebody...
Whack Molar
Okay, this is not really a very difficult game, You get a big toothbrush and you get to whack some bad guys (and girls) on the head. There is Bob Plaque, Miss Gingivitis and Mr. Tooth Decay. You can feel good whilst being very cruel to these villains. If you whack the tooth fairy you are finished as a whacker.
Reminder
Dental games can be fun or they can just be a great reminder that brushing those teeth is important. Dr Dentist will have you falling off your chair with laughter. Dental Damage is a really exciting game .Glen Martin's Dental Adventure is just that - a great adventure. BUT you should never forget that in real life, lousy teeth are something no one wants.
I hope, after few plays of these games, you will be brushing those teeth a little harder. I know it worked for me.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed your trips to the dentist where you were the one with the drill!
