If you write down your dreams in a journal, consider typing them into a database instead. A 'dream database' has advantages over a paper based journal.

For example, the serious dream student could record thousands of dreams in paper based journals, if you make recording your dreams something that you do year in and year out. The point of recording them is to analyse and interpret them, now and in the future.

If you want to refer back to an old dream, that you recorded two years ago, how do you know which journal to find it in? If you accumulate many journals, it could take you hours to find the dream you are looking for.

A 'dream database' allows you to search the database for keywords. For example, you may remember dreaming of a person, place, or object that has now come up in another dream. If your dreams are on a database, you can search those records with relevant keywords, and find the dreams you are looking for.

I've just finished creating Dream Sight Diary Database Version 3.  I've decided to make it free because I think dreams are an amazing gift and I regard anyone who pays attention to them as deserving of some much needed help!  This program will help you organise your dreams into Categories, once you understand them.

You can also print your dreams out and put them in a binder.  So you've got the best of both worlds.  An electronic database to 'search' and a hard copy for posterity.

In this new version I've created, people who are just getting on the path with recording their dreams and learning dream interpretation can work through a series of dream analysis questions to help them understand what the dream is saying. Even if you are new to dream interpretation, working through these questions will help fine tune your analytical mind to see the coded messages in your dreams.

For those users who understand dream interpretation, the questions give you a place to start, and a format to follow to enhance your dream interpretation skills. It's really awesome how this works.

There are also links to Jane Teresa Anderson's website, who was the inspiration for this program.  She taught me her dream interpretation methods and my life has changed in ways that defy belief.
