Record Milestones to motivate yourself.
Record Milestones to motivate yourself.

If you want to learn to write up a dream journal whether it be to induce lucid dream, interpret your dreams, or just feel the need to write, this is the hub to read. You can make your journal look fantastic and appealing by following some simple steps:

  • Title - To tell briefly what your dream is about.
  • Date - To state when you had this dream.
  • Genre - What genre is it in? Action, romance, ordinary?
  • Time - Between what time did you have the dream?
  • Lucidity - Were you lucid at all during this dream?
  • Description - The main writing piece, describe your dream in detail.
  • A Picture - Gives the page some colour and tells what the dream is about.

Many dreamers seem to quickly jot down their dreams on a piece of paper from a notepad, possibly not even writing down the date they had the dream. This will eventually cause you to lose motivation if you leave the piece of notepad paper lieing around and don't do anything with it. You don't have to invest large amounts of money on a dream journal, just a cheap $15 will do you good. If you decorate the dream journal, with pictures for each dream, maybe drawings, or you can even decorate the front cover, just make it appealing so it encourages you to write in it every morning.

I will link a Dream Here so you can follow it and get an understanding of to how to set it up. Make sure you write in it every morning, i know it may get time consuming, it does, but surely you have time to jot 5+ dot points about the dream that you can work on later.

I used to keep a dream journal but found I could not remember dreams right away. SOmetimes something would strike me in the middle of the day and I would remember bits and pieces. Who dreams according to genre? my dreams are bits and pieces of everything. It isn't like a full length film! Good hub topic!
