Got a drug problem, here's a fix. The best way to help people on drugs is to legalize them just like cigars, cigarettes and tobacco have been legalized. The prohibition era is now over for liquid alcoholic wines and spirits the socially accepted other drugs.  The liquid drug war was lost by the temperance movement many years ago. Of course there will be some destructive behavior still going on but with the help of legalization and taxation and oversight of those now illegal drugs of the street.  We need to clean up our society and get the funds used to punish and use them to treat those who want treatment and allow the families of those affected by drug use to have some peace by turning things around for society as a whole.
