Druid builds in the world of Warcraft
There are a couple of main builds for druids in the world of Warcraft. The main two are based around the feral talent tree, and the restoration talent tree. The Resto talent builds for druids are for healing, and they do that extremely well. You’ll find if a druid has gone with the resto talent tree, they’ll be able to act as the primary healer in a group, or if you’re in a high end (ie lvl 80) dungeon you’ll find they’ll more than likely be with a priest as well, but you can do the heroic versions without much challenge when you do it correctly.
The Feral druid talent builds can vary from druid to druid, but their primary purpose is to be able to dish out alot of damage quickly, and take a beating at the same time. There are two types of feral druid builds you can go for, Cat and bear. While they are similar, the bear form is more like a warrior in the way it works, and is geared towards taking a lot of damage, however don’t discount the amount of damage they can deal when they have a fully spec’d out feral tree.
The second Feral build is the cat based builds, these builds a geared towards dishing insane amount of damage very quickly. The cat form of a druid is like a rogue in damage, and can put out high amounts of damage in short amounts of time. They are not something you want to get behind you on the battle field.
As for talents, the combination is 14 talents in the resto tree, anything after that you’re wasting talents as they are all for healing only. After that every talent in the feral tree is going to either increase how much damage you can take, or how much damage you can give. In the end, just maxing out the tree will make your feral druid extremely dangerous.
