Dubai: Dubai is one of the seven Emirates of United Arab Emirate (UAE).It is located along the southern coast of the Persian Gulf. The Dubai federal unit has the largest population. The main revenue of Dubai generates from Tourism, real estate and financial service.

Private real estate investment started in Dubai after 2002: Since 2002 the city had seen an increase in private real estate investment in recreating Dubai’s skyline such as the projects as the Palm islands, the world island, Burj Dubai and the Dynamic Tower. The robust economic growth in recent years have been accompanied by rising inflation rate as is 11.2% in 2007 and simultaneously increasing the cost of living. The population is being increased to 14 lakhs in the area of 1287 Sq Km. The immigrants are mainly Asian 85% , out of which Indian 51%, Pakistanis 15%, Bangladeshis 10% and others 10%.

Dubai waterfront is going to be the largest man-made offshore structure in the world: Dubai’s land reclamation projects the three Palm islands of Jumeria, Jebel Ali and Deira. Dubai waterfront will be the largest man-made offshore structure in the world, having villas, malls and holiday resorts in 2012. Dubai’s Jebel Ali Port, constructed in 1970 has the largest man-made harbor in the world.

Dubai adopted a uniform currency, UAE dirham for better financing: Oil was discovered in 1966 in Dubai. The discovery of oil led to massive influx of foreign workers, mainly Indians and Pakistanis. Population density increased by 300% in the period of 1968-1975. In the mean time, Dubai joined the Emirates to make a bigger business in oil in the united efforts and adopted a uniform currency, UAE dirham. Where is the Dubai City?

The answer is difficult to speak out. The whole of Dubai is a city. It is now one of the most or the best city of the world now. There is no specific place called ‘Dubai City’. However, Deira in Dubai is known as the Business District and Bur Dubai is the main residential area. Jumeirah is a popular area closed to the beach and a bit expensive suburb. Dubai is a safe place. Here Dubai law is tough and there is no place for robbers. The people here are so warm, the smiles are genuine. Unlike many Arabic countries, Dubai people have a different approach to their visitors.
