Dyslexia is a disorder wherein a person has a great difficulty in comprehending the written or spoken word, coupled with the inability to perceive the difference between left and right.
Causes of Dyslexia :
A. This disorder was attributed to brain lesion. Since it has been categorized as a type of "organic brain dysfunction," a term applied to children who prove to be slow learners or who do not respond "normally to a particular stimulus.
B. Earlier educational traumatic experience and other factor can prevent / hinder later learning.
Symptoms of Dyslexia :
The child gives the impression of not wanting to learn at school. What really happening is that he or she is a dyslexic child and cannot pay attention longer than 10 to 15 minutes. The child starts to play or get distracted which produces a behavior problem.
Recommended Treatments for Dyslexia :
- Proper diet
- Train the child to read and write everyday, several times a day. This will exercise the brain to begin to work in the proper way.
- It is advised to nourish them with food that will help the brain to function well.
