EAMCET is the entrance exam for Engineering and Medicine in the state of Andhra Pradesh.This test is taken by a large number of Engineering and Medical aspirants. Presently the JNTU located in Hyderabad conducts the examination. In the year 2007 around 1.85 lakh students gave a shot in the Engineering Stream and around 0.9 Lakh in the Medical & Agricultural Stream. The best part of this exam is that the results are declared in a record time of 13 or 14 days every year making the counselling and admission process very smooth. EAMCET-2008 is held on 08th May 2008 conducted by JNT University on behalf of APSCHE.

To my knowledge there is one site where you can see the day-to-day availability of seats in engg colleges during conselling. Also, you get a booklet near the conselling centre, Sanketika Vidya Bhavan, masab tank with the details of the last rank statement for all branches in all colleges.
