56ETF Market Trend Trading: What Is the Fuss About?
Trend trading in the ETF market is seemingly what’s the new “in” investment. And it has been for a while now. Part of the attraction obviously is that ETFs are somewhat new – and in our quest for the next big shiny things, we always look for something new, we humans are simply drawn to discover. It’s our nature.
Yet as you’ve surely noticed, the ETF market seems to keep getting more and more good press, the momentum simply keeps building. Are ETFs all they’re hyped to be? And where can we get great info about them? That’s what I address in this article.
ETFs – BTW that stands for exchange-traded funds - allow any investors to access a wide range of assets much like we could with all the various traditional mutual funds, the main difference being that they are dealt much like stocks through a broker-dealer – both the full serviced ones and the discount brokers. That means we can day trade actively with them like we’d do with stocks and forex, or use the buy-and-hold strategies typical of index funds. The possibilities are huge! And that can be both great and confusing.

If You Plan On Making Money Trend Trading in the ETF Market You NEED To Go Take in Some Great Info
If you plan on making any money in investments, be it trend trading in the ETF market or otherwise, it is my strong opinion you have to invest FIRST in knowledge to make sure you give yourself the best odds to succeed.
I’ve worked in the financial services field, and typically offered mutual funds as the main portfolio building block for most of my middle class clients. It was the best choice then and it would still be a good choice now.
ETFs are the new kids on the block and ideal for people who want to be more involved in their portfolios, yet don’t want to dabble in the more volatile vehicles like stocks or forex. You can deal them as you would stocks, yet as many of them copy the different indexes, you will often pay way less in ongoing fees, and less taxes too. That means more money in your pocket. Make sure to compare what is the best option for you between ETFs and mutual funds.
In my opinion, ETFs are great for more learned investors as you need a more hands on approach. Thankfully in today’s world, you can easily get to be a learned investor.
Begin by informing yourself for an overview through sites like wikepedia, and then learning the ABCs through a free e-course as recommended here is the way to set yourself on the right track.
