EZECHIEL BREAD - HEALTH AND HEALING
67It is important to eat healthy foods to promote health and the proper functioning of the body.
Ezekiel bread is biblical bread. In Biblical times the prophet Ezekiel got sick and consulted God on it. God gave him specific instructions. He said: take wheat, barley, beans, lentils and millet and make a bread out of it. God told him to drink only water with it and lay in certain positions. As you can see, God did not mention soda or lemonade.
Scripture quote: Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shall lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shall thou eat thereof. (Ezekiel 4:9)
There is a company in California who makes Ezekiel bread and buns. It is made from the grain of five kinds of sprouts – wheat, barley, beans, lentils and millet. The sprout has a lot of nutrients and vitamins needed for the proper function of the body. It contains all the proteins the body needs and is very beneficial for diabetics as well. There is no flour in it. It promotes efficient assimilation of proteins and carbohydrates by the body. See: http://www.foodforlife.com/sprouted-grain-difference/ezekiel-4-9.html

Hello Reuvera, being sick is also expensive :).
This is interesting. I had no idea. I'll have to try some. Thanks for the tip.
James it is very tasty. I am using buns. I nuke them in the micro. I m not eating any other bread unless I do not have anything else to eat. I asked food store manager to order it and now many people in the city are eating healthy bread.
Thank you for this article. I am going to go out and try and find some in Houston. It sounds very healthy!
In our town there was not Ezekiel bread available. I requested it and they got it. Now many people in Town eat it. If you need help let me know. :-).
Thanks!
You are welcome.

I love Ezekiel bread! I can eat it as it is, with water and it tastes better than a cake. Buns are nice with cream cheese and strawberry jam. It's an expensive bread, though...
