Blogger is a great blog platform to use to earn money online. It's totally free and easy to use. If you are not too computer savvy then a Blogger blog will work for you. Here's how you earn money from home with Blogger.

You sign up for a Blogger account. Now you need to figure out what subject you want to write about on your first blog. Do some thorough keyword research to determine what keyword phrases will pay good and deliver some good traffic.

Now create your Blogger blog using a good keyword phrase as the URL and title. Now write 300 to 500 word posts about different keyword phrases that you previously found. Write one or two posts per week. You can stop after 10 or so posts and wait for it to get indexed by Google.

After you start to get traffic sign up for a Google Adsense account. Add the Adsense code to your Blogger blog. Now add a few links from some social bookmarking sites like Digg and Stumbleupon.

It will take about 4 -6 months for you to start to earn extra money from home with your Blogger blogs. Now build some more!

Here is another method or platform to earn extra money from home. Info Barrel is a website where you can write articles and receive money from Google Adsense. It is a great way to earn extra money and it's very simple to do. You must have a Google Adsense account.

All you have to do is sign up for an Info Barrel account, configure your settings and start writing. Again you need to do good keyword research before you do any writing. This will determine if you can earn any money from a given set of keywords. Write about 500 words or so using good keywords. Double check your grammar and spelling and then publish.

Now when you start getting traffic, any clicks on the Adsense ads will result in you earning money. You may not earn much money from one article but you need to strive for 100 articles or more. This is how you earn real money from home.

Hubpages is the 3rd method of earning extra money from home. It is also free and very easy to use. You will also make use of your Adsense account to earn extra money from Hubpages.

Sign up for a free account wirh Hubpages and start writing. Hubpages can get some really good traffic and therefore make good money. But again you can't make a ton of money with one hubpage. It will take many more like 75 to 100 hubpages to earn good money. It sounds like a lot of work and it is but just write one at a time and soon you'll have 10 and then 20 and then 50.

To get more traffic, submit your hubpages to social bookmarking sites like Digg and Stumbleupon. DO not get carried away with link building. Just do a few here and there and then just wait.

Squidoo can also help you earn extra money form home. it is very similar to Hubpages and Info Barrel with the exception of Adsense. You do not earn money from Asense directly on Squidoo. You get a portion of the Adsense revenue. The way to earn extra money on Squidoo is by using an Amazon Associate or eBay Partner account and sell products. You will earn about 5% commission on all products that you sell.

You write keyword rich articles to create a Squidoo Lens and add modules for Amazon and eBay products. It is harder to sell products than to get Adsense clicks. So Squidoo is not the best money maker.

You can also use Squidoo for link juice. Create relevant Lens and link to your other websites like Blogger, Hubpages and Info Barrel. This will increase the traffic.
