Earn Money Working From Home-Titles For Ezinearticles

So we have chosen Ezineaticles to write your article about how to earn money working from home. One of the most important things you need to know when focusing on your article is that the title is almost the most important part of the article.

You need to attract people to your article right off the bat. You may have the best article on the site but with a lousy title you wont get people clicking on to read. Bad title and you will have the reader and possible buyer lost forever.

People make the mistake of using the most obvious or easiest title. First point is get your keywords in the title and after that make the title pop out so that people will want to read your article. You can believe what you want but I am here to tell you that the difference between great and not so great traffic is how the title peaked the readers interest.

You really need to take the time to get that title just right. In some cases the entire title may take you longer to write than the article itself but at the end of the day you will be glad you took the time to do it right.

Earn Money Working From Home-Ezinearticles Length

You really are not going to earn money working from home by writing long drawn out articles for Ezinearticles.  Some of the experts recommend 400 to 600 words but I can almost guarantee you that most readers will never make it to the 600 word mark of ant article.

Ezinearticles has a 250 word minimum for articles and in all honesty you really can say pretty much everything you need to say in 250 words.  You have to deliver witt, excitement and the want in the 250 words.  Myself after many trials have definitely figured out that on almost all occasions the 250 word rule for me is all I need.

Don't fall trap to people telling you that if you write a longer article it will become a highlight at Ezinearticles.  This just isn't true.  The thing is you want the article to get read outside of Ezine articles.  For this reason you want to focus on SEO.  All you are doing by writing the 1000 word articles is wasting your time.  If you haven't figured out by now time is the most valuable resource you have when it comes to learning how to earn money working from home.

Earn Money Working From Home-Ezinearticles Quality

Now I want you to read this very carefully if you want to earn money working from home using Ezinearticles. (I know I will get emails giving me crap again because the gurus hate when I go against what they teach.)

The gurus will tell you that quantity is better than quality.  Please don't listen to this.  They will tell you to just write, write and write some more.  They will tell you to get as many articles out there in as little time as possible.  Of course they are saying this to show you that you can get lots of back links.

First of all Ezinearticles are cracking down on crappy articles.  Writing for the sole purpose of back links will actually have you losing out on a ton of traffic.

Remember you are using keywords to get people to your article and then to your site.  When people search the keywords in most cases they are looking for something.  If you can give them something in the article then you are creating a chance for them to click thru to your site and very possibly make a purchase.

If you are only interested in building links you are very likely leaving twice as much traffic at the table.  If you haven't figured out by now that the most important thing when it comes to learning how to earn money from home is the need for traffic.  By writing crappy articles for Ezinearticles you are stealing money from yourself.

I'm glad that you stressed the quality, Dale. There are a lot of crappy articles on EZA, which I don't think helps anybody, including the people who are quality conscious.

I've only ever published one article there under my own name (I have ghostwritten for EZA'ers) and it took 2 months for it to be approved. I want to change the resource box (badly!) but am afraid of how long that would take.

Good job!

Resubmission is usually quite quick. Last 2 days I resubmitted 2 and were back up in less than 24 hours.

Thanks, Dale. Actually, Zsuzsy Bee suggested that I write an ebook about my latest hub - How to Make a Real Zombie. Maybe you could market it for me. :)

Interesting series of articles.

I'm intrigued by the idea that you can write a 250-word article and attract traffic.

Frankly, when I was writing book reviews years ago, I was limited to 250 words, and I really liked it. It was definitely a challenge, because I can get long-winded on paper.

But, I must say, the sales angle of the article -- I would have a very hard time with that, as I have no experience in advertising copywriting.

Sorry Dale but your word count advice may be outdated. Here is a reprint of an extract of today's Ezine Articles Newsletter by Christopher M. Knight:

"What's the ideal word count? 400-800 words.

"Get this: Over 142,000 articles are currently in "Problem Status." Of those, 41% are under 399 words. Compare that to those that are over 750+ words which account for 1-2% of the total. That means you can significantly increase your chances of having your article accepted purely by increasing your word count to the 400+ range."

Thanks Sue. However that is just a reccomendation.

I have several articles just over 250 words and all have been accepted.

Below is an excerpt from editorial guide lines

Must be a minimum of 250 words and no more than 5,000 words. For us, an ideal article size is 400-750 words

The key is to pack as much punch into those 250 words as possible. Dont get me wrong though because I also have many articles over 500 words.

Thanks for the comment
