Earthfest Boston 2009 also dubbed the Green Festival is a free concert sponsored by Radio 92.9 and presented by Whole Foods Market. It is being held today. This free concert focuses on environmental issues. It is a family event that features family activities, booths, exhibits, displays, food and product samples. It will be a fun-filled, educational day for everyone. The headlines for this year's events are Soul Asylum, The Lemonheads, Shawn Mullins and Seven Mary Three.

This is the 16th year the festival is taking place and I think that the Earthfest Boston 2009 is an awesome idea and more communities should hold events like this. It is good for all of us to be reminded of our environment and the Earthfest Boston does this in a fun way. Our environment needs our help, in a big way.
