baskets made easy
It's that time again to enjoy the new spring colors and shrug off the winter coat.
Easter is just right around the corner and it's time to get those baskets ready so ...lets hop to it.
Choosing a basket
Picking a basket is really not that hard, what size you want all depends on you want to put in it.
At wal-mart they have more of a variety of baskets. From plastics, wicker, soft material, and wide open baskets as well. If you don't find a basket you like, simply choose a plain one and put your personnel touch by decorating it yourself.
One simple thing
Know what he/she likes and find the one toy to put in center of the baskets. Some children go for the stuffed animals, coloring books and crayons others likes trucks and cars. How about colored hair ties , matching mirror and lip gloss. Even the boys you can give cologne and combs or a cap with some cool shades? Either way the list is endless if you use your imagination....don't forget keep it simple and sweet. Did you know that the 99 centsĀ and dollar tree store carries a lot of name brand items? Hannah Montana, Winnie the pooh, Spider-man, spurs (for the man in your life) cowboys, Tinkerbell, Cinderella and much much more. When you compare these to the full price at the other stores you'll be glad you were able to money back into your pocket!
Filler up
Now comes the sweet stuff right now everybody is carry all kinds of goodies so really that is up
to you on where you want to get them. Here's a hint at the (you got it) .99 cents stores you can find lots of candy for .59 cent a bag or .99 cents for name brand candy. For at least 3.00 you can fill up 4 baskets!!! They have the clear wrapping paper to wrap the baskets to give the finishing touch all which have different designs and colors.
The final hop
Coordinate the toy with the candy's and set aside.
which ever makes it easy for you girls first or boys begin to fix the items together.
Place the main gift inside the middle of the basket and the candy's in front and around the gift. Next put the clear wrap underneath the basket and gather together at the top. Close the wrapping with Scotch tape or a twisty tie, stick a cute bow and call it done.
This is a sure fire way to put a smile on anybody's face young or not to be in the easter spirit.

Good information. I have always found assembling baskets myself is not only much less expensive but are also nicer because you can customize the contents to the child rather than one size fits all.
