Easy Diet Tips for Weight Loss
52In today's world, it isn't suprising that over 50% of all Americans are obese to a certain degree. One of the main reasons for this is that we as Americans lead very busy lives which means that having the time to stick to a diet isn't easy at all. Well, don't despair, not all hope is lost.
Following are some easy tips that should help you start losing some of those unwanted pounds:
1. Exercise: One of the best tips I can give you is that any diet you start using or following should include some form of exercising. Even if the diet itself states that it is not required.
You should always do some type of physical exercise 1st thing when you wake up in the morning. Just before you eat breakfast. There are many exercises that can be done such as a brisk walk for 10 minutes either on a treadmill or just around the neighborhood.
Just 10 minutes of exercise is all that is needed to burn stored energy such as fat. If you feel that you can do a little more, then by all means, do it.
2. Snacking: This next tip is about snacking and is somewhat common sense. But I always mention it because most people don't stick to this tip.
You should never be snacking late at night. You never want to eat and then go to bed. This will store all of those calories as fat.
You should also be aware that you should eat your dinner at least three hours or more before you go to bed. Just following this tip without doing anything else can have incredible results.
3. Drinking Coffee: This tip is about drinking coffee. We all love coffee (including myself) and if you have to drink it, make it just black. Anything fancier such as mochas, blended coffees, etc are loaded with calories.
I used to drink a Grande mocha every morning and all I did was change to standard black coffee, and I started losing weight. All without changing any of my other eating habits. If you need caffeine, another good thing to drink is an iced green or black tea without sweetners or sugar.

Eating More than 2 or 3 Meals Per Day
One of the best things I've learned about losing weight is to take your standard three meals and divide them into four or five meals per day.
Eating smaller portions but more often per day helps you feel satisfied or full and keeps you from feeling starved when you sit down for lunch or dinner where you could consume a lot more calories than you should. Your body's metabolism requires constant fuel so that it can burn fat.
So, every time you eat a meal, your metabolism kicks in. And if you are eating four or five times per day, your metabolism is working all day to burn those calories and fat.
