64Italian Style Grilled Chicken Breast
This is an easy grilled chicken recipe that can be used for many dishes. Grilled chicken sandwich, grilled chicken salads, or the main entree.
I always try and cook as much food as possible when I fire up the grill. I just don't want to waste the charcoal. Thats what I tell the wife anyway.
What your going to need:
- Charcoal, Gas or George Foreman - probably can cook in a skillet - I just have not tried it "yet".
- Skinless Boneless Chicken Breast - the amount is up to you
- A bottle or two of Italian Salad Dressing -the house style not the creamy type - One bottle shoud do but depends on how much Italian Style Grilled Chicken you want
Prepping The Bird:
- Pound the breast with a meat tenderizer unit about 1/2 inch thick - this will allow it to cook evenly
- Coat with Italian Salad Dressing, cover and refrigerate a half hour or so - longer for a bolder flavor - I just let it marinate until my grill is ready, but I am impatient.
- Start grill and let coals get white and very hot.
Cooking:
- Add chicken to grill and cook for about 4 minutes or so a side - depends on the grill - just make sure it is cooked all the way through, never undercook poultry.
Eating:
- Now that he hard part is over, it is time to enjoy. Just serve as is with a few side dishes or make grilled chicken breast sandwiches or slice and add to a salad.
