Kids Money Making Ideas

As adults who have jobs, we have money coming in and out. While we can't buy absolutely anything we want, we can buy things when necessary because we often have money.

Do you remember being a kid? This same money situation was not so. The same goes for kids now. Most kids don't make money. If their lucky, they can get some money from their parents as an allowance, but this isn't always how it is.

If you want to find some kids money making ideas, you have come to the right place. Here we have lots of great ideas for kids to make money.

Do Extra Chores Around the House

One kids money making idea is to do extra chores around the house for your family. Ask your parents if there is anything extra you could do to get paid for. Some examples may be: wash the car, clean the windows inside and out, clean out drawers and cabinets, wash out the refrigerator, etc.

There are lots of different chores you can do that aren't done on a regular basis. You parents will be happy to have it done, and hopefully, you can make some extra cash while you at it.

Help Out other People

Why stop with your parents? You can help other people out as well and they can pay you. Ask friends, family, and neighbors if there is anything you could do for them. If you do a good job, they could pay you and will probably pay you well.

Helping other people could be turned into a consistent business. If you have lots of friends, family, and neighbors that consistently need your help, you can do it on a regular basis and make some nice cash.

Cash in Cans and Coins

You can't get much easier than good ol' fashioned cashing in cans for coins.  This is one of those kids money making ideas that has been around for a while and is still valid.

Does your family have a lot of bottles that can be returned for change, often 5 cents?  You can cash them in at your local supermarket for change.  As friends and family and maybe even walk around your neighborhood for their bottles and cans.   Make sure the bottles and cans are returnable.

You can also cash in coins.  Search your house and ask around for everyone's loose change.  A famous place to find coins is in your couch cushions.  Cash in the coins for dollars at a coin counting machine.

Start your Own Business

If all these kids money making ideas just sound too ordinary, why not start your own business?  Even kids can have their own business.  A lemonade stand is a business for example.

Look around your neighborhood.  Is there anything you can do or anything you can sell to anyone?  This is a great way to make money.  Many young kids have come up with ideas that exploded.  Maybe you can be next?
