Installing RAM (Random Access Memory) in a laptop is a very easy process. I will explain it in simple steps so that everyone understands. You should have a screw driver suitable for laptops cover. First Turn the laptop upside down and find the memory cover. Unscrew the cover very carefully and remove the cover slowly without breaking the holders. You can see a Ejector clip which is used to tightly hold the chip in place. You can also see a small slot opposite to that. A free memory chip will be placed usually by manufacturers itself. You have to remove it carefully (If you have got a Anti-Static Wrist Wrap supplied with tool box, then it should be used to cover your fingers) Slowly remove ejector clips and pull them holding the chip on the edge and slide it out through the slot. Now take the RAM and hold it on edges and smootly insert it in the slot and push it gently below the ejector clips. Nowlock the ejector clips and screw the cover of the laptop. Now switch on your laptop and you can see that the extra RAM (memory) has now been added.
