Increase your Passion for Life
It is so easy in this day and age to fall into the mundane routine of housework, childcare, finance juggling and working an increased number of hours, no wonder we sometimes feel jaded, uninspired and lose our zest for life. These important but often dull, daily activities begin to chip away at our enthusiasm for living if we are not careful and we can very quickly find ourselves in a rut without warning.
With this in mind, It is vital that we find some free time for ourselves and this could include any activities which we aspire to do and although we do have to be sensible and responsible in life, we owe it to ourselves to actively enjoy each and every day, whether this means taking up a new hobby, getting in touch with old friends or just having some pamper-me time.
Increasing our passion for life will have a hugely beneficial effect on our general health and well-being, we will feel fitter, more vibrant and our positive feelings and motivation for life increases. If our lives are full already we may struggle to know how to fit any more in so it can be distinctly useful to clear any emotional or physical clutter that we already have in our lives. Clutter in our homes or at work can detract from our positive energy and so can emotional clutter. By clearing away this non-essential and negative disorder, we can incorporate so much more in our lives.
Meditation
Learning basic meditation and visualisation techniques can help to increase creativity, bring calm, and pleasure. It helps to improve general feel good emotions and can open up areas of your life which you may not have thought existed.
Mindmap
Start with an area of your life, which appeals to you the most, and then add extra-related areas, so that you can see the direction, which can inspire your present and future. It is a good idea to include hobbies or activities that you would like to achieve in your mind-map also.
Photo Board
Similar to the mind map process but this time it is useful to create a photo board, which signifies all the things, that you love the most in your life. Photos provide a visual reminder of how lucky you are in your current life and can invoke powerful memories that may reappear after reviewing this board.
Create a Passion Journal
Use your journal to write down all of the good experiences you have in life. It doesn't have to be added to daily, but it serves as a good reminder of all of the amazing times you have, which can only add to your sense of well-being.
Challenges
Why not set yourself a monthly challenge? This can be visiting a place which you have always wanted to go to or it could be losing weight, getting fit, finding love or doing something incredibly outrageous. A monthly challenge will help to focus your mind on doing something that is beneficial for you and will therefore give a huge boost to your health and happiness.
