When this passage is clogged then the person snores loudly. There are many ways to open up the airways when you are sleeping.
Can Anti-snoring Devices Helps You?
Many people use anti-snoring pillows that prevent your head from dropping down to your chest while you sleep. Those people that curl in a ball when they sleep and have their chin almost touching their chest are most likely snore the loudest. When your chin drops to your chest while you are sleeping then you are probably snoring. If your spouse is snoring check their chin and see if it is almost touching their chest. You may want to move the person’s head upward and watch how the snoring stops. A snoring pillow may be all that they need to get them to stop snoring.
Another thing that you might consider to stop snoring is no sleeping with a pillow at all. Some people have terrible pillows that cause them to move their chin closer to their chest and snore. They may try sleeping on their back flat and seeing if they do not snore. Some people feel like they have to have a pillow but the truth is that sleeping without a pillow is much better for your spine and your back, especially if you are lying flat on your back.
There are breathing machines and inhaling systems that you can use if you snore loudly. These are often for people who snore due to congestion. Someone who is congested might use a fan or a humidifier to keep the dry air moist so they can breathe. Someone who snores due to congestion will not snore as loudly as a chin to the chest. These systems help clear the airways from congestion and help people with apnea problems also. Some doctors will actually prescribe systems if the snoring is really bad because then it may mean that something else is wrong. In most cases, snoring is curable.
