Easy Web Video: For Those Dreaming of Streaming Video on Your Website
57Have you been dreaming of streaming video? If so, you have probably run into some big obstacles that got in the way of seeing your dream fulfilled.
One of these obstacles is technical jargon. While trying to discover the technique of adding video to a web page, I came across mention of encoding, embedding, parameters, codecs, mpeg, wmv, avi and the like. It seemed like the more I searched, the deeper it got.
Another problem I ran into was that different video players are incompatible. Most Windows users have Windows Media Player. Mac users have QuickTime. Videos prepared for Windows don't play on Macs and vice versa unless the users download and install some extra software. Some will do that. Most won't take the time.
A third problem that I encountered was with the compression. Raw video has huge file sizes. Adding video to a web page without compressing it first would not be a good idea. It would use up too much of your server space and bandwidth. Your visitors would also have a hard time getting it to play.
A lot of compression programs cause your video to loose a lot of its quality. Ever see those grainy, fuzzy videos? Who likes watching those?
The solution I found is a program called V2F (for video to flash) from Easy Web Video.
In three easy steps that take only a few minutes you can have your video prepared and uploaded to your website for family and friends to see.
It's amazingly simple. You select your video from a file on your computer. Next, you choose a few settings like the type of video player or buttons you want to display. Finally, you choose whether you want to prepare it for a dial-up or high speed connection.
That's it. Your video is compressed and ready for upload. In fact, V2F can automatically upload the video to your computer. All you have to do is enter your ftp information.
It couldn't be easier. Following is a visual demonstration.
Easy Web Video goes beyond just adding video to a web page. They also include an easy-to-use video editor. This allows you to add sound and special effects. Along with that, there is a cool teleprompter. Add your message and start up the teleprompter. Your message scrolls down as you read it, helping you to avoid all those annoying pauses and "uhhhs".
If you're tired of all the technical mumbo-jumbo and spending tons of time preparing and uploading videos to your web page, you need V2F by Easy Web Video.
Just think, you could have your videos ready for viewing in a few minutes from now.
