Let's Get GREEN!

What simple FREE things can be done to start going gree? I can think of a couple...obvious ones. Unplug electronics when you are not using them. It will save you money. Sometimes we just don't want to do it because we know we're going to have to plug the t.v. back in when we go to watch in again, but don't be lazy. : D We can also stop with the plastic shopping bags. Buy a cloth one. Even more than that, we can get a cloth one that is made from recycled materials.  Longer lasting, less energy using light bulbs. (Did that light bulb just turn on in your head?)

We can even build our homes, and make home improvements with recycled materials. For one, we can use recycled glass to make a nice shiney floor, or ceiling. Even things like tin, paper, and old wood, are still very usable and reliable components when building homes.

Let's not forget to recycle, recycle, recycle!

Making Your Own Energy

There is way that a person can actually eliminate their complete energy bill, and help the "green cause" all at the same time.  Aside from the many small things that you can you do, (some listed above), you can also do a big thing that will benefit you more than anyone else.

Building an Energy Panel

You can buy an energy panel, yes this is true.  If you want to spend to $2000, then I say, go for it!  If you are looking for a price much LESS than that, I would say, BUILD IT!  Think about it, if you bought the panel, maybe you could get a payment plan...but if you built it, you are automatically on a payment plan.  You can't buy materials until you get the money...right?  You can't finish until you can materials...right?  So there you have it, you have to "plan" the whole thing yourselt.  It goes at your own time, and payment plan, and when you are finished, you are done; no bills to worry about.

7 Reasons To Build An Energy Panel

  1. You will save hundreds of dollars every time you get your power bill!

  2. This is great for our environment and your children will thank you for it.

  3. This could be a totally fun home project.

  4. When you can make renewable power for less than $200, why wouldn't you!

  5. You will be able to spend your savings on more important things

  6. Knowing that you are doing your part to conserve our planet feels great!

  7. Earth4Energy's fully illustrated instructions make this a very simple job for anybody!
