If you're yearnin to whip up some brownies real quick, you can't go wrong with these delicious recipes.

Easy Chocolate Brownie Recipe: Black Forest Brownie Torte

Folks will think you spent some serious time in the kitchen making these gourmet brownies, but really they're easy to make.

1 package brownie mix, plus ingredients to make cake-like brownies

1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling, divided

2 1/2 cups whipped topping, thawed, divided

1/4 cup sliced almonds

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Prepare brownie mix according to directions for cake-like brownies. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

Divide brownie batter between the two pans. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Do not over bake. Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then remove to wire rack to cool.

Place one brownie cake on a platter or cake dish. Top with 1 1/2 cups whipped topping, spreading to within 1/2 inch of edge.

Spread 1 cup cherry pie filling evenly over whipped topping. Put second cake layer on top of whipped topping.

Spread remaining pie filling to within 1/2 inch of edge of top layer. Dollop remaining whipped topping around edge of top layer of torte.

Sprinkle almonds over top. Cut into wedges with large serrated knife.

Easy Chocolate Brownie Recipe: Chocolate Walnut Icing

Who says you have to use a brownie mix to make an easy chocolate brownie? Real homemade brownies are always the best.

1 1/3 cups confectioners' sugar

3 tablespoons butter or margarine

2 tablespoons cocoa

2 tablespoons milk

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Place powdered sugar in medium mixing bowl. Melt the 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine in a small saucepan over low heat; stir in 2 tablespoons of cocoa, blending until smooth.

Add milk; stir constantly over low heat until mixture has thickened slightly. Pour hot mixture over the powdered sugar; beat until smooth. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon vanilla and 1/4 cup chopped walnuts. Spread warm icing over still warm brownies.
