I have lived most of my life as a Meat and non Organic eater and after reading some Books about the way Animals are treated and the amount of man made chemical that are sprayed every day on all of our Produce has changed my views about what I want to put into my body.
The most obvious reason to why we should buy organic foods is to avoid pesticides, antibiotics and hormones that have been sprayed on or in the case of meat, pumped into our food system. I think the most obvious reason why you should eat Organic produce is due to the fact that it is healthy! Also if you are a meat eater, FREE RANGE MEAT is a MUST! Organic food tends to contain higher levels of vitamin C, cancer-fighting antioxidants, and essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron and chromium. Did you know that More than 400 chemical pesticides are routinely used in conventional farming and residues are often present in non-organic food.
We also sometimes forget our surroundings and wildlife. We do not want to see our children living in a world with no wildlife and Eating Organic is good for wildlife and the environment. The UK government has said that organic farming is better for wildlife, causes lower pollution from sprays, produces less carbon dioxide - the main global warming gas -and less dangerous wastes.

Many of the foods we eat every day are filled with Pesticides and other man made chemicals that can harm our bodies. I have made a list below of common every day foods that are better for you if bought Organic.
1. Milk: There is both pesticides and chemicals found in human breast
milk. There for it is usually found in other dairy products too. Since Dairy is a staple in most of our children's diet this should be of concern to most parents out there.
2. Coffee: I know how much Coffee is a Must H?ave for most of your Caffeine Lovers out there but many of the beans you buy are grown in countries that don't regulate use of chemicals and pesticides and can be filled with potentially harmful chemicals.
3. Peaches & Apples: Like peaches, apples are typically grown with the use of poisons to kill a variety of pests, from fungi to insects. One would think that scrubbing and peeling would eliminate chemical residue completely, but this is not the case. So BUY ORGANIC FRUIT!
4. Celery: Since celery has no protective skin it makes it that much harder to wash off all of the man made chemicals that are sprayed on them.
5. Nectarines: This may come as a huge surprise but did you know that there were 26 different types of pesticides found on tested nectarines.
