Eating Breakfast Aids Weight Loss
47
Adding eggs to your breakfast helps you lose extra weight.
There are a lot of misconceptions about losing weight. Skipping meals is one of them. And the one meal you should never miss: Breakfast.
A recent study from the St. Louis University in America has found out that adding whole eggs with your breakfast has resulted in human test subjects' consuming 264 calories less the whole day (24 hours).
The subjects, who consumed less calories throughout the day, had breakfast of two whole eggs, two slices of toast and a tablespoon of reduced calorie fruit spread during the study's duration compared to the other group's one bagel, two slices of cream cheese and 3 oz. of nonfat yogurt.
The protein and fat in the whole eggs are what the researchers suspect to be the reason why the group who ate them felt less hungry throughout the whole day.
In conclusion, breakfast is the most important meal of the day and adding two whole eggs (as long as you don't have contraindications of doing so) might just make you feel fuller and aid you in reaching your weight loss goals.
