How to Start Making Money on Ebay: Get 100 Positive Feedbacks on Ebay for $1 in Two Days

Generating a substantial positive feedback score on Ebay is surprisingly easy and inexpensive.

It’s really funny to see a seller on Ebay with zero feedbacks who’s selling a car, a new stereo, or an expensive watch. Most of the time a seller with such feedback would end up (a) selling the product for much less the market price and (b) not selling the product at all and having to pay listing fees. Experienced Ebayers would advise you to stay away from deals offered by members with zero or no feedback. The reason is that the sale might be a scam or that the seller’s lack of experience can create problems.

Having a substantial number of positive feedbacks is very important for both buyers and sellers on Ebay. Four years ago, when I wanted to generate some positive feedback for my Ebay user ID, I started buying anything I can find. In a month, I spent more that $100 in needless merchandise and my feedback was merely 14. Many of the sellers didn’t bother to leave a positive feedback.

My first attempt to generate positive feedback on Ebay failed because I didn’t realize how cheap some things on Ebay are: if you use the right keywords, you’ll find hundreds of products selling at $0.01 - 0.03. You need to have a PayPal account of course in order to pay for the services or products you’re buying. IIf you’re interested in how to open a PayPal Sellers Account you can look in the Using the PayPal MultiOrder Shipping Tool section of the following hub:

You Can Get 100 Positive Feedbacks for $1

If you do it quickly and efficiently - in an hour you can purchase at least 80 products at $0.01 on Ebay. From these 80 transactions, in 2-3 days you’ll receive positive feedback from at least 2/3 of all the sellers (about 26 positive feedbacks). This means that your speed will be 26 positive feedbacks an hour. With this rate, you’ll need only 3 hours' work to reach the threshold of 100 % positive feedback (Turquoise Star) – a great starting position for a seller. And all this can cost you a mere $1. Compare this to my first feedback shopping – I spent $100 for just 14 feedbacks.

In a nutshell, you’ll have to work 3 hours for 100 feedbacks, you’ll receive the feedbacks in about 2-3 days, and you’ll need to purchase at least 150 items to receive 100 feedbacks since not every seller would reciprocate with a feedback.

How Valuable Is the One Dollar Positive Feedback Score of 100?

The feedbacks you’ll get will be less valuable because other users will be able to see what you purchased and what it cost you. But most Ebay users are only interested in your score and the percentage of your positive feedback – shown next to your user ID. Very few Ebayers will look at your 100% positive feedback in detail. Besides, the default number of feedbacks per page on Ebay is 25 feedbacks, which means that you can quickly cover your $0.01 feedbacks with other feedback.

What to Search for and How

First, remember that you have to buy only buy-it-now items. Bidding on an auction of one cent is a time waster. You’ll also have to look for items priced at $0.01 to $0.03. For the search, use keywords such as ebook, e-book, or recipe/s.

Once you type a keyword and click search at your personal Ebay page, on the left side of your search results under Narrow Your Results bar will appear the Search Options bar. Under the Search Options bar find Buying Options and select Buy It Now. The last item of the Search Options bar is Items Prices – where you’ll put 0.01 to 0.03. Try to narrow your search to find the least expensive items first - later you can increase the amount in another search.

Leaving Feedback and Sending a Message to the Seller

After purchasing the item, leave a positive feedback to the seller – most sellers would not leave you any feedback if you didn’t first. Always send a message to remind the seller to reciprocate with a positive feedback. Before starting, devise a short message that you’ll send to each seller right after you complete your payment. Send the message only once to avoid irritating the seller – if you do send it more than once, you risk receiving a negative instead of positive feedback. Here’s an example message:

Thank you for the deal! I just left you a nice positive feedback – please do the same for me.

Warm Regards

Your Name

Pay for the Same Item Once

After completing payment with PayPal it would take some time for the system to update information. So, don’t rush into paying for the same thing twice.

Keep a Record of the Sellers

You should keep a record of the sellers you bought the items from. All positive feedback scores received from the same seller count as one.

Choose Sellers with Good Feedback Score

Avoid sellers who have a lot of negative feedbacks. The better the score of the seller – the better your chance to receive positive feedback are.

Don’t Get Tempted into Selling E-books or Recipes

Don’t get tempted into selling similar items priced at less than a dollar. Many of the sellers who sell these $0.01 e-books and recipes get removed from Ebay. You wouldn’t want to risk losing the right to use Ebay over a dollar. If a seller who sold you an e-book has been removed, you’ll receive a notification from Ebay that the auction has been canceled, and you’ll get your money back to your PayPal account.

The feedback you’ll receive will help you sell items at better prices and qualify to purchase some more expensive items. Don’t overdo it – you don’t need more than 100 feedbacks for a successful start. Try to keep your %100 positive feedback by delivering outstanding customer service.

Let me know if this worked for you and if you need any help. Good luck with your buying and selling!

What a smart (and sneaky idea)... I wish I would have thought of it that way instead of spending hundreds of dollars. But, I can still use your method to increase my feedback score when I need to, right?

Very interesting idea. I have never sold on ebay but if I ever decide to do so, I will know how to quickly get feedback. Thanks.

Indeed intrersting but just a word of advice. As a company we were well over the 10,000 plus FB range, two years ago and my friend against my advice started selling "Penny Products", meshed with the "High Ticket Items", we were selling at the time. I told him this was a stupid idea...and I was right after one of our competitors Narked us out for "Artificaly Trying To Inflate Our FB", our Powerseller rep removed all FB associated with the "Penny Ebooks".

GKLOVE, this is only for poeple who just started with Ebay. For a successful start, you don't need more than 100 positive feedbacks from "Penny Products."

Not saying you do however, with your solution to artificially inflating ones Feedback...there is another problem scenario....which has happened to thousands of Sellers. After artificially inflating your Feedback for (IE), 48 hours, and then proceeding to sell "Big Ticket Items", in a competitive Nich, your competitors will surely report you or Nark you out to Trust And Safety.

After they / your competitors report you, rest assure TRS will remove any associated Feedback in reference to the “Penny Book”, listings. If your going to do this or subscribe to this method of artificially inflating your Feedback at the very least wait a couple weeks before posting “Big Ticket Items”, under this ACCT, and throw in a couple legit items after the initial Feedback Surge.

I understand what you are saying completely - it wouldn't be smart to start listing a whole lot of expensive items right after you accumulate such feedback. But you can sell, for example, your own car, furniture, laptop etc. Gradually, you'll get 20 more real feedbacks and start selling other things.

How long have you been selling on Ebay Rainmakerrain? When I was busy I was doing around 30-40K a month GMS, or Gross Monthly Sales! We have seen a little of everything over the last 4-5 years on Ebay..which is why we started a blog dedicated not only for those involved in the online auction industry but rather for those who aspire to do far greater things with their lives online. Ebay is great......I mean they do all the marketing for you however if you want to play in their Sandbox you have to play by their rules....did I mention I don't really like rules that much..LOL(-:

Hi, this article was awesome. I dont know how I didn´t realized that. But I started doing it, and when I select a cheap product, the page sends me an error that I cannot see the page. I think that this is cause ebay cancelled the product. I cant hardly find some item. Any idea.
