Eclipse is when the moon comes between the sun and the earth. The moon blocks the sun. As people believe that there are a lot of dark things happen around. There are more killing happening, basically more evil rules the earth.

In Hindu mythology, the two demons Rahu and Ketu are said to "swallow" the sun during eclipses, snuffing out its life-giving light and causing food to become inedible and water undrinkable.

During this day there should not be any children born. If mothers are planning to deliver a child on this day of eclipse, they shouldn’t, they should change the date.

People believe their own things. Many are following and many are not.
