Are you suffering from stress? Are you unable to enjoy life due to stress? Do you want to reduce stress from your life? If the answer of these questions is “YES” then you are at right place to find out the solution. Today we have all the facilities to make our life simple and happy. We have more useful kitchen appliances, electronic gadgets, we have fast transportation facilities, we have better communication facilities, we have advanced medical facilities comparing to old days. Everything is in our favour but still we are facing many problems and increasing our mental stress.
Comparing to last decade we are facing more stress these days. There are many reasons for stress if I count the numbers, numerous reasons will come out but the main are hectic work schedule or environment, low income, physical health, disturbance in relationship, rat race in job or education etc. So, if there is problem, there must be solution also. No question will complete without answer. There are many ways to reduce stresses. What we required is, to use that for our sake. Unless and until we follow these tips from heart, we can’t reduce stress. I found some effective ways to reduce stress which I am going to share with you.
01) Do Yoga:-
Yoga is the great way to relieve stress. Actually yoga is the complete package of physical movement, breathing techniques and meditation. This is the most precious gift given to the world by Indian culture. Join a yoga class, refer books, watch television programs on yoga, and take private tuitions from yoga teacher. Use which ever option you like to learn some basic poses or to be master in. Do yoga regularly at morning or evening, which time suits to your work schedule. Follow maximum rules and regulation you had learnt.
02) Breathing Exercise (Pranayam):-
We always breath but never think about the science of breathing. Deep breathing has excellent way to remove stresses from body and mind. Our blood cells get oxygenated by pranayam which in-turn relaxes our brain. Breathing exercise has a definite science behind him. You have to be very careful about using this method. You have to follow the rules very strictly under supervision of any expert. To learn about breathing exercise you can use television channel “AASTHA” in morning from 5 to 7.30 IST (Indian Standard Time) where Baba Ramdev is regularly teaching pranayam. 03) Meditation:-
This is the oldest method used by human to reduce stress. Meditation is also releases hormones that promote good health. Start to meditate yourself whenever you feel stresses in mind. You can also do this as a habit by starting with few minutes when you woke up or before going to sleep. You can increase the amount of time for meditation as you can; there is no side effect or bad effect. Your mind become very clam when you meditate and you will realize that your concentration level also increases. 04) Exercise:-
Physical exercise not only help to lose weight but also help to keep you fit and fine. When you keep yourself healthy, the stresses due to medical problems are eliminated from your life and you feel relaxed. Studies have proved that exercising for an hour daily goes a long way in relieving stress. If you have no money to join Gym, no problem, you can start by strolling (Walking at speed 4 KM/Hour). Then shift to Brisk Walking.
Brisk walking is nothing but fast walking in rhythm. In brisk walking you have to attain the speed of walking at 6 KM/Hour. After this increase the speed and go for Aerobic Walking (8 KM/Hour). Walking is free of cost and you do it at your own without any expenses.
05) Relax Your Muscles:-
When you are stressed due to any reason, muscles of various parts of our body got tensed. Try to relax the muscles of affected parts such as face, neck, shoulder, and so on. When you are tense and relax different muscles of your body, by this you are teaching your body to de-stress. Start with face muscle and the go for neck, shoulder, hand, abdomen, feet etc. This you can do at any where, any time without other’s help.
06) Chat with Friend, Family Member, Neighbour:-
You may feel very strange about this tip but I am confident on this tip. Day by day communication technology is developing from good to best but we are using it for business purpose only. We are so busy in our work schedule and have no time for our family, friends or neighbours. Life in metro cities all around the world is very fast. We don’t know in detail who is our neighbour, we just talk them with Hi or Hallo, that is the end of our relation. It doesn’t mean to disturb anybody but try to find out some time, say half an hour only to chat with others or your loved one. Do involve in social activity or functions. At least maintain one close friend to whom you can share your feelings, thoughts, views, opinions etc. very honestly. In short try to maintain some informal relationship with others.
07) Have a Sex with your Spouse:-
Don’t get surprised, sex is probably the most natural stress reliever. When you are stressed do some sexual activity with your spouse. I know, it is hard some time but don’t think that making love will not be as pleasurable when you are stressed. Just do some foreplay only that may sufficient. Having sex not only has physical benefits but it also known to reduce stress levels. A good sexual relationship with your spouse will keep you and your spouse cherish through out the life. (Bachelors are suggested to avoid this tip)
08) Listen Music or Read Books:-
Listening to music when you are stressed calms your mind and relaxes your body. If you are under lot of stress, just put your headphones of your Ipod, mobile or walkman in ears and start listening music, which makes you happy and relaxed. More and more people are now discovering the power of music therapy. Do it at your own or meet the expert. It is scientifically proved that classical music has a good impact on our mind. If you don’t have these high end gadgets, don’t worry, just read some good books. The books on sense of humour, joke, comedy, autobiography of successful people, positive thinking, self development etc. you will find ideas, thoughts to relieve your stress. More ever you don’t have to purchase it; you can be a member of any library and can carry with you any where.
