Get flat stomach exercises for women! More and more women are looking for ways to lose that ugly belly fat and develop a sexy flat stomach. There are lot's of arguments how to develop a sexy flat abs for women, but the truth is that weight training combined with high intensity cardio workout and balanced healthy diet gives the best results. Their workout should be similar to men's workout. Only exception is that womens muscle development is slower than men but how many women you know personally know who have a solid six pack abs?

1) Concentrate on full-body workouts

Focusing on full body workouts like deadlifts, squats, lunges, pull-ups, snatches and other exercises where more than two muscle groups are involved, will create a greater metabolic response in your entire body that assist you to reduce more body fat than in regular ab exercises. Working large muscles intensively instead of single-joint movements will cause an increased RMR (Resting metabolic rate) for up to even 1-2 days.

2) Use free weights instead of machines

Over 80% of women are preferably working with machines. Why? Because they feel more comfortable. But that's not the point. If women are too comfortloving even at the gym, why not staying at home. The belief that women become a muscular immediately after they step into the gym is nonsense. Free weight allow you to follow your body's natural line of motion and work as a stabilizer forcing your muscles do the most work.

3) The importance of cardio workout

Have you been told that a long low-moderate cardio routines are the best way to burn off body fat and get a flat stomach? I can say, they are all wrong! Although an aerobic workout does burn higher percentage of calories from fat storage "during" the exercising, still your RMR remains evaluated for only 1-2 hours, which means you will burn a fewer calories, but a higher intensity workout like weight training, sprints etc. your RMR will remain evaluated for up to 1-2 days. I would recommend to try out high intensity interval training for example on a treadmill doing 4 intervals. 1min walk and 2min run, including 5-10min warmup. It should be no longer than 30min total.
