Squeeze pages or Capture Page

Many people advertising on Traffic Exchanges use a tool called Squeeze page or Capture page as some call it, and these are very effective in most cases. The proper use of these tools requires that you generally give something away for free or for a very low price. In order for this method to be effective the product or service you are giving away has to be something that your prospect cannot live without in his business or life. Maybe a free Ebook on strategies of SEO , or Widgets for your blog, maybe even an Ebook on "how to put 15 hours back into your week" (coming soon). My Ideas on this method are a little different than most peoples, I would charge a small amount for the Ebook for several reasons; One reason to charge would be to keep the tire kickers away! It is a fact that most people that download a freebie just leave it sitting on their desktop or files and never read it or take action on it, If I am putting my best effort into something I don't want it sitting around, I want the person to take action with it and hopefully give me some feedback as in a Case study report or testimonial. The price would need to be affordable for all interested parties and small enough so as to not run off any potential Subscribers or clients. One way to figure the price of an Ebook is to figure out the value of said Ebook and then charge 10% of what it is worth therefore giving them extreme value compared to cost. For instance; Saving 15 hours a week is worth 15x25 (my avg.hourly rate) = 375.00 and 10% is 37.50 which is a tremendous value in itself but maybe a little high for todays economy so I would charge 27.00 or even 17.00 because ultimately you are trying to get them to sign up and the cheaper the product the more sign-ups you are going to get. Do not sell yourself short though, If your product is worth mucho dinero then charge accordingly and leave the uninterested behind to struggle on their own. there are millions of prospects on the Internet today so you have the ability to pick and choose who you help, Tire kickers and undecisive people will only waste your time and efforts so charging a little fee for your product will eliminate most of these people right out of the shoot. When giving this report or Ebook away you can monetize your freebie with a back-end offer to make up for the freebie you are offering and recoup your costs of production and possibly make a little profit, but remember, you are looking for sign-ups not profit, so test the Market and see what the people want before you sink money into a dead horse and work yourself to the bone for no results.
