Amazingly, millions of people believe it's impossible to balance an egg on its end! Actually, not so amazing. I only discovered it could be done a few years ago. I honestly believed - or wanted to believe - that eggs could only be balanced by people with some kind of psychic or paranormal ability.

Well, I've come a long way since then and written a book about it. Egg Balancing Secrets can empower anyone to balance any ordinary egg, raw or hard boiled,on any day of the year, on its end, either way up, on various surfaces, flat or at various angles up to 45 degrees – even on a BAD DAY!

Hello. My name is Charles Russell Stockdale (Rusty). Until 2005 at age fifty-five I believed that it was impossible to balance an egg on its end. I am not alone. Countless millions of people world wide believe that it’s impossible.

Recently I not only learned it was possible, I actually discovered for myself how to balance eggs on end, and taught my partner, Toni. We went on to learn even more incredible things about balancing eggs.

This book is a record of our journey of discovery, as well as a complete “how to” manual for anyone wishing to learn to balance eggs themselves.

Your initiation into Egg Balancing Secrets! begins with the Columbus’ Egg story. Why? Firstly, because you are very likely to come across one or more versions of the story when searching the internet or libraries for egg balancing information.

Secondly, it seems that by far the greater part of humanity are in agreement with Christopher Columbus, that it is impossible to balance an egg without breaking It! So that reading the Columbus’ Egg story can “infect” you with what could be called the “Columbus Impossibility Virus”. YOU, however, are about to become IMMUNE to this virus.

This immunisation will occur when you learn Secret #1 very soon.

Most of us learned at school that In fourteen hundred and ninety two, Columbus sailed the ocean blue, and discovered America, amongst other things. We are not so familiar with the “famous” story about his “egg balancing”.

According to legend, Christopher Columbus attended a dinner given in his honor. Columbus invites his fellow guests to make an egg stand on end. After the gentlemen successively tried and failed, they protested that it was impossible.

Columbus then placed the egg on the table, breaking the shell a bit, so that it could stand upright. He then stated that it was "the simplest thing in the world. Anybody can do it, after he has been shown how!"

The Columbus’ Egg story is found all over the net when you start looking. There are even photos of the monument to Columbus' broken egg located in San Antonio, Ibiza. (It’s claimed Columbus is from there).

You can see the flattened bottom of the egg, and you might be able to see his ship in the hole in the middle.When you’ve learned that eggs can be balanced without breaking them or otherwise “cheating”, you may then share our wonder that someone as capable and persistent as Christopher Columbus did not discover the secrets of egg balancing himself!

However, Toni and I agree with the principle of Columbus’ assertion, that anybody can do it after they have been shown how. The huge difference is that now, with our book Egg Balancing Secrets! there is NO need to break the egg. The purpose of this book is to show you how to balance an egg without cheating or using any form of trickery!
