Economical & financial Factors driving the Egypt property market

A range of luxury properties are being built at very affordable prices for example you can purchase a front line beach property from £30K

Positive increase in property value over the last few years with steady capital growth of 20% - 30% year on year anticipated.

The Egyptian Government’s reforms specifically designed to attract inward investment including;

  • No capital gains tax
  • No inheritance tax
  • No stamp duty
  • No government tax
  • Less property taxes than the UK

Of course Egypt being a favourite holiday destination if you purchase the right typeof property in the right location you will certainly have the potential to receive very positive rental income.

Some of tourist resort developments have specific buy to let opportunities with guaranteed rental for investors.

Low cost of living with fantastic shopping in some of the more established resorts.

Being very close to Europe holiday makers can take advantage of cheap and regular flights from most European countries.

Tourism is growing and demand is greater than the amount of quality accommodation available. Increasing tourist demand means increasing demand for quality accommodation therefore as mentioned earlier if you purchase the right property in the right location not only is the rental potential good but the resale possibilities are also excellent, should you wish to resale that is!

The Domestic market is growing in Egypt, the middle-class population is increasing all the time meaning that these wealthier Egyptians have increasing consumer purchasing power and will therefore be looking for quality accommodation to rent or purchase. This trend will push the prices of real estate in Egypt up and should have a positive impact on the overseas investment market…

Positive economic growth with increased investment in tourism, infrastructure and real estate developments.

Egypt is also a politically stable country

Red Sea Coastline

The Red Sea has some of the world most beautiful coastlines with miles of sandy beaches including un-spoilt coral reefs which make for some of the best diving spots in the world.

The Red Sea is a rich and diverse ecosystem. More than 1100 species of fish have been recorded in the red sea, and around 10% of these are found nowhere else.

The rich diversity is in part due to the 2,000 km of coral reef extending along its coastline; these fringing reefs are 5000-7000 years old and are largely formed of stony acropora and porites corals. The reefs form platforms and sometimes lagoons along the coast and occasional other features such as cylinders (such as the blue hole at Dahab).
