I am on the road again. Have since had gbox troubles but all ok I hope again (fingers crossed this time) have a horseshoe on the front of vehicle so hope that works.
This is how we are traveling

Well folks we have just bought another vehicle. other one gave us too much troubles.
We bought an 2000 nissan patrol walkabout. So at least it is bigger with more room for us and our dog. Hope the motor and everything looks after us better than our last one. Cheers for now. Will put pics up as we travel.

New Chevy 6.5 Motor
Well now, we have just returned from our trip Around Australia. And that 2.8 Nisson got us into a few frustrating spots, sort of dangerous. Simply because it didnt have the necessary take off power. Mind you the van and the ( extra rocks) we collected didnt help the weight factor in the van. (no not overloaded)
So we went and spent a lot of money and had a new chevy 6.5 manual motor put in 3 weeks ago. We went up to Geraldton and ran it in and just resting near Collie now after its first service.
Soon our son will be out of our home and we can move in again for a couple of months.
Whoopee. I think Titan (our dog) will love to be off the road for a while. Oh well thats all for now.
Oh boy! nearly forgot. The spot Messenger was really great people knew just where we were it gave us and rellies more knowledge about us being safe.

We didnt make it to cooper pedy more gbox probs. So limped off to adelaide.
Yes have put one pic up now up now but have just sold the vehicle as it gave us too much problems even though we had done everything to it . it had 240 v for charging alll our stuff and extra battery for fridge and inverters, anti rust thingyas well. But heyt what thats life now we have to hope we havent bought another lemon. We need some good luck for a change. But as long as we wake up each new day that is the most important thing in lif dont you agree

Hope the new vehicle is more reliable Eileen! That's the trouble with caravans and boats - great fun but they can be a money pit with all the things that can go wrong. Good luck!
