Always Study the Candidates Track Records Before Voting

If you're still undecided, this site can be of great help!

And this hub can be very helpful in getting to know the candidate I've chosen to vote for, if you're interested in learning more about him.

Discover what Ron Paul has done as a congressman. Imagine what he will do as president.

Decided to come back and add some newer videos.

This man has never flip-flopped on the issues!

No spin, no smoke and mirrors platform, he presents his views simply, from the heart and has a track record that stands tall even with the closest scrutiny.

There are talks he gave clear back to 1988 available to view on YouTube!

And guess what....although he's capable of developing new views on issues that change over time....what he stood firm for back then regarding all the major issues is the same stand he's taking on those issues today!

When health freedom advocates need a congressman to fight against attempts to restrict access to dietary supplements, they turn to Dr. Ron Paul. Dr. Paul is the leader in Washington who is not afraid to fight the powerful special interests that want to limit access to dietary supplements.

When Dr. Paul learned the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) was trying to censor truthful health claims by supplement manufacturers, he introduced the Health Freedom Protection Act (H.R. 2117).

Just a brief overview of his record:

He has never voted to raise taxes.

He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.

He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.

He has never voted to raise congressional pay.

He has never taken a government-paid junket.

He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.

He voted against regulating the Internet.

He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.

He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

If he's done as much as he has as a congressman, imagine what he can do as President!

I know who I'm voting for!

Top Three Contributors to Ron Paul are U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force

"Message of strong national defense and strictly following the Constitution resonates with American servicemen and women

ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA - According to opensecrets.org, the top three contributors to Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul's campaign are from the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force respectively.

"No matter how you measure it, Dr. Paul has the support of our nation's brave servicemen and women," said Kent Snyder, Ron Paul 2008 campaign chairman. "His message of a strong national defense, and only going to war with a declaration of war - as mandated by the Constitution - resonates with those who risk their lives to defend that Constitution."

No branch of the military appears among the "top contributors" to GOP frontrunner John McCain's campaign.

Additionally, Ron Paul's military contributions are greater than those of all other current candidates - John McCain, Mike Huckabee, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama -combined."

  • Is It Really Just All 'In Your Genes'?

A friend introduced me to the works of Bruce Lipton by sending me his book and I was blown away by this man's passion and dedication to seeking truths that other Doctors had simply missed while being so focused only on what they were taught in medical school. I was so impressed I then searched on Google and found some great videos of his seminars. Funny thing is, this Doctor had been teaching

You've got to love all the pretty ads you see online and in home-business magazines. Usually the picture shows a beautiful lady with perfect makeup sitting at her computer in a massive home office with her two-year-old playing happily on the floor. Or perhaps it's a picture of a man who's lounged by the pool laughing and talking on his cordless phone while his children are floating around in the

True, his appeal is limited mainly to opponents of the war who are also libertarians, a fairly small group. It is refreshing to hear his uncompromising pitch. For liberals, the same is true of Dennis Kucinich. Both of them tend to have the effect of making the other candidates in their own party seem like a bunch of insincere compromisers and business as usual, bought-and-paid-for politicians.

The danger of people like Ron Paul is that they might run as independents, as Nader did in 2000 and Ross Perot did in 1996. Perot spoiled Bush I's chances of being elected and Nader's candidacy probably caused Gore to lose to Bush, along with his brother Jeb and the U.S. Supreme Court. However, I think I heard Ron Paul declare pretty emphatically that he would not run as an independent.

I truly think Dr. Paul's appeal is about more than just the war. However, agree that he has said he is 99.9 percent sure he won't run on a third party ticket, course he did say it like none of us can predict the future and that it would take something really big for him to consider that.

I do think there would be a public outcry if he doesn't get the Republican nomination, for him to do just that tho, as many are swearing if he didn't they know how to do a 'write in' vote....

However, I also think people are underestimating how many votes he will pull in the primaries...polls are targeted to just certain groups...like all Republicans, all who voted for Bush last election, etc...

I know our family prays for his candidacy...and for many more reasons than just the war issue...

Ron is the exact President the United States needs to rebound. Unfortunately he's a threat to the establishment, the exact cancer who's destroying the fabric of our nation. Some of the media (those run by large corporations) do not allow him the same amount of focus they provide the puppets (hillary, rudy, and romney). Instead they use clever strategies to discredit and discount his character - just like they did Mike Gravel. The truth is Ron Paul is one of the few Real Patriotic Heros of this nation. Keep fighting the good fight Dr. Paul, we know who the real candidate of change is. God Bless your soul!
