I love a good adventure - which is why I am always trying to do new things and visit new places. I always said that for my 30th birthday I am going to purchase for myself a motorcycle. Naturally my husband is not to keen on the idea because he thinks they are dangerous - for me. It’s no surprise that he wants one for himself!

In order to show him that I can handle myself on one of these cool bikes I told him that I would start off with something a little smaller - an Electric Pocket Rocket or Pocket Bike. They are kind of a new thing that I discovered a few months ago.

They are about half the size of a real motorcycle - but they come with everything you would need. They even look great and are perfect for anyone who loves to perform dangerous and cool tricks on. Or you can use them to race other people with pocket bikes.

For those of you who want one for your children you can find one of these bikes in smaller and more safer sizes. That’s right they are available in smaller sizes. The great thing about these is that they are made to be safe for drivers and will break you in for the real thing. If you think you can handle it!

I always tell people that while you are waiting for you new pocket bike to come in they need to acquire all of the necessary safety equipment. Don’t underestimate the power of these little bikes. They might be small - but many of them have the power to reach up to 50 mph. There’s no doubt that many of us would test those limits. But can you imagine wiping out at that speed with nothing - but normal clothes on?

Obviously the first thing you need to get is the helmet. Protect your noggin and you chances of staying safe have dramatically increased. Besides the helmet you also need gloves, knee pads, elbow pads, and a leather jacket. Leather jackets are tough and won’t tear as easily. To make sure you get the right kind buy one specifically for bikers.

When buying all of the gear make sure that they fit perfectly. Too big or too small and your vision can be impaired and you won’t be able to move easily. This can affect your driving and cause you to crash.

Besides the safety equipment you need there are also many safety rules and pocket bike safety laws to follow. These laws will let you know whether or not you are allowed to drive your pocket bike on the roads, streets, or sidewalks. They will also let you know whether or not you need a special license and how old your kids can be to drive one.

To know what pocket bike laws are in your area contact your local DMV or police department. They will have a list of requirements to follow. Have fun and be safe!

Electric pocket bikes can be super cool and fun for both children and adults. Their small size makes it great for children to be able to do more things outside that they will love. And when it comes to adults they now have a good excuse to ride around on something half their size.

There are some adults who will use these bikes for racing each other on the track. Then you have the ones that love to live life on the edge and will use them to do cool tricks. Seeing them be able to successfully do loop the loops and donuts and ramps with these bikes is cool.

Even better then getting to see them perform the tricks right is getting to see them wipe out! Because they are only about 2 feet off the ground they usually don’t hurt themselves - but it still brings laughs when you watch it. These pocket bike crashes are brilliant and if you know which ones to watch you can’t get enough of them!

It also makes you wonder exactly what these people were thinking when they decided to try out these tricks. It also makes you thankful that helmets actually help!
