Elephants are magnificent, elegant creatures. Many people are awed by elephants. Pictures of elephants reveal their dignity and power. It isn't a myth about elephant memory. Elephants do have superb memories and are very intelligent.
There are two types of elephants- African and Asian elephants. Pictures of the species will reveal the differences. African elephant ears are much larger than the ears of Asian elephants. African elephants are darker gray than Asian elephants. African elephant tusks are larger than Asian elephants' tusks. Elephants truly are glorious creatures. I am amazed how long they live as sucha big animal. Providing they don't go down to athritis (pretty common) they can live out to a ripe old age of 70 human years.

Magnificent creatures...I love elephants. My grandmother collected figurines and I have several of them -- did you know that if you arrange them so that their trunks point towards the front door it brings good fortune to the home?
Oh...and have you seen the 'elevision' thing? Pretty incredible images.
