I bought this product on the basis of good reviews at Amazon. please do not repeat my mistake. Initially a small plastic thingy that as a sensor for the computer, and thus came into direct physical contact with the flywheel or another movable part started this incredibly irritating, loud whining noise after about 3 weeks of use. OK, it took some doing, but I finally found out exactly where the noise was from, broke the case and voila - the noise was gone. But a few weeks later, the metal base easily cracked. I noticed that the machine was wavering under me, and when I took a closer look, I saw the crack in the bottom metal frame, on the back. I weigh 180, and I used it for 30 minutes a day, so it's not like I abused it. The thing is of course very cheaply built. Believe me, if it sounds too good to be true - a legitimate $ 100 elliptical - that is, because it is. You will end up wasting money and time, do not bother with this thing.
