Elliptical Machines Reviews: The Sole E55 Elliptical
65Elliptical Machines Reviews: Sole E55 Elliptical
Sole is a very good name in the exercise equipment industry. Although they are mostly known for their quality treadmills, Sole is gaining ground on other companies with their ellipticals as well. Soles are usually priced in the middle of the road (an average of about $1300), but they are of the same quality of ellipticals much more expensive.
The Sole E55 elliptical trainer, priced at a reasonable $1499.99, is one of the best values on the market today. This elliptical also has many of the same features as the commercial grade ellipticals, such as a heavy-duty 27 lb flywheel, a 20” stride, and a power incline feature that can raise the elliptical anywhere from 15°-40°. The incline feature is great because you can choose to workout different muscle groups with the touch of a button.
The Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer
When it comes to burning calories, you want an elliptical machine
that can challenge you, as well as be comfortable to use. The E55’s 20”
stride is great because it gives you that full range of motion that
many cheaper models won’t give you. A stride any shorter than an 18”
would not be suitable for anyone 6’ tall or taller. The power incline
feature is great, if you keep the incline low at 15°, your workout will
be strictly cardio and conditioning. But if you boost that incline to
upwards of 30°, you’ll be well on your way to building some strong
thighs and tight buns. The E55 has the footpads pointed inwards at 2°,
which has been proven to keep your body aligned during your workout.
This prevents any knee or joint problems that you might face without
having this feature in the elliptical you use.
If you’re into listening to music during your workout, then this elliptical
provides a great feature for that. There is an mp3 player port that you
can easily put your iPod into and play through the E55’s built-in
speakers. I don’t know about you, but working out to music can
definitely help boost my energy, especially if it has a steady beat.
The steady beat helps you forget that you’re even working out, and
allows you to burn the maximum amount of calories.
Last but
not least is one of the most important features of this elliptical
trainer, the warranty. Many elliptical machines have the lifetime frame
warranty, but short change you on the parts and labor warranty, usually
being 1 year or less. But with the E55, Sole not only gives you a
lifetime frame warranty, but they also throw in a 5-year
parts/electronics warranty and a 2-year labor warranty.
Overall,
I could not find one weakness of this elliptical. For the price, you’re
getting all of what you’re paying for and much more. Even if something
did go wrong, you have one of the best warranties in the industry to
back it up. If this elliptical is out of your price range, well that’s
really too bad, but I would recommend reading some more elliptical machines reviews, and finding one that is right for you.
