I've known for some time now that if I really want to take my online marketing efforts to the next level, I'll need to include more video marketing into my online affiliate marketing efforts.

The videos I've made so far have been few and far between because, well, let's just say I'm not an expert at making videos (although they're not all that bad), and it takes me a while to put videos together. I wouldn't call myself a perfectionist, but I do want my videos to look half decent.

But I don't have to worry about making my own videos anymore. I was very excited the other day when I opened an email that introduced me to a new video marketing tool called Quick Video Optin.

What this software allows you to do is put affiliate links, Google Adsense ads, as well as Clickbank, Ebay and Amazon widgets ( among other things), in videos from the most popular video sites like YouTube, MySpace, Yahoo, Google and others! Not only that, but you can include optin forms that allow visitors of these videos to enter their information, and become one of your subscribers; you know how important those subscriber lists are!

My mind started spinning when I realized that I could place Amazon, Clickbank, Ebay, and other widgets in my videos. I'm an affiliate of all those companies, and when I realized how easy it is with Quick Video Optin (and it is SO easy) to put those links and widgets in videos that were already made, AND if I had a captive audience to watch those videos (I'm going to place the videos on my blog), how much more money I could make with my affiliate marketing efforts.

Anyway, I'm always up for new things, so I gave Quick Video Optin a spin since they offered a 3-day trial. It took me probably less than 30 minutes to watch the tutorial videos and start putting links and Google Adsense in some videos. When I was reviewing Quick Video Optin, I asked myself three things:

1. Do I think I can make more affiliate money than I'm making now by embedding affiliate links in videos?

2. Did I find everything in the sales page for Quick Video Optin accurate

3. What's the learning curve? Is Quick Video Optin easy to use?

I have to say that I was very pleased with the answers to all three of these questions.

So, if you're wondering if Quick Video Optin is for you, just go check it out--it can't hurt. Right now they're offering a 3-day trial (I don't know how long that will last).

One more thing, put yourself in the shoes of someone that just pushed play on a video on your blog or website. If they were watching a really cool video that you downloaded from YouTube--maybe it's about a new way to work at home, or how to make more affiliate profits, or maybe how to do something completely new and exciting on Hubpages, and then at the end of the video you had a subscriber optin form; wouldn't you consider filling it out?

Me, personally? I can't wait to try some of the tools I learned on Quick Video Optin. I just subscribed the other day, so I haven't put my optin form in a video yet, but I have made several videos with Google Adsense ads in them, and affiliate links.

I'm very excited to see if embedding a subscriber optin form in a video really increases my subscriber list. I can't imagine that it wouldn't; especially if you can combine it with giving something away for free like an ebook. Videos are awesome because you have someone's immediate attention!
