As previously mentioned in Enter the Dragonkin, my next assignment was to have a chat with the great dragon, Emberstrife. The only problem was I had no idea where to find him!! So, I headed into Undercity in hopes of running into someone who would be able to provide a little insight into the whereabouts of my target.

My search paid off when I bumped into a "knowledgeable source" who informed me I would find Emberstrife in a cave in Dustwallow Marsh. Unfortunately, my contact didn't know the precise coordinates; but at the conclusion of our chat, I at least had an idea of where to begin my search. With my destination being "somewhere in Dustwallow Marsh," I hearthed back to my home in Orgrimmar to prepare for the journey.

With my supplies replenished and bags packed, I headed to the Wind Rider platform and took the first flight headed towards Brackenwall Village, which is the Horde outpost in Dustwallow Marsh.

Upon landing in Brackenwall Village, I literally ran into Overlord Mok'Morokk who wanted to know what the "tiny Orc" was up to. I explained to the Overlord the purpose of my visit. In turn, the giant ogre related the history of his people. He also provided a few clues to fill in the puzzle as to the whereabouts of Emberstrife.

Through my conversation with the Overlord, I learned the land where Emberstrife would be found was the former homeland of his tribe, the Stonemaul Clan. I learned his tribe was driven off their lands by the Firemane Dragonkin and the landscape went from beautiful green to scorched earth very quickly. The Overlord also told me he had left behind some valuables which he would like me to retrieve since I was heading there anyway.

At the conclusion of our chat and with new knowledge, I headed in the direction of Wyrmbog. True to the Overlord's description, the landscape did change drastically. One would find it difficult to believe this place was once a verdant paradise teeming with all types of wildlife. It is now barren. Indeed, scorched earth is a most accurate description.

Where once birds flew, now one finds little dragonkin. Even the fierce crocodiles dare not tread here. There is an eerie silence. The sounds of marsh inhabitants are no more. They have been replaced by the sounds of fire breathing dragons!!

Keeping close to the mountains and ever watchful of the frequent two-man patrols, I gingerly made my way around the land of the Firemane. I had been riding a short time when I spotted an opening in the side of the mountain which was heavily guarded.

I patiently waited for an opportune moment to slip into the cave without notice, and I began slowly following the path which lay before me. After several paces, I reached a fork in the path and decided to head down the left branch. It was a gently meandering path, and before long, I found myself in the presence of the great drake, Emberstrife.

I hastily donned the Amulet the hag, Myranda, had given me and -- true to her words -- I was instantly transformed into dragonkin. I took a moment to adjust to my new appearance, and I slowly approached the dragon.

The mighty dragon addressed me as Whelp and reminded me "we" were Deathwing's children and our dominance over those lesser than "we" must be enforced; and thus, he assigned me four tasks in order to permit my ascension:

• Slay the Blue Dragon, Scryer
• Slay the Green Dragon, Somnus
• Slay the Black Dragon, Chronalis; and lastly,
• Slay the Red Dragon, Axtroz

That's a pretty tall order for a "tiny Orc" (wink).
