Emma Watson is growing up. She has grown up right in front of out very eyes and she has come a long way since she first appeared on the screen as Hermoine Granger, Harry Potter's more studious best friend, in the first Harry Potter film in 2001. Emma Watson was born on April 15th, 1990 in Paris. She was discovered when she sent an audition tape in to try out for the part of Hermoine Granger and she was cast in 1999, when she was just nine years old! Though Emma enjoys playing Hermoine and being a poart of the Harry Potter Project, she is excited to move onto other films and projects.

Emma Watson in recent interviews has revealed that she will be attending University in the United States. She says that this was her decision because in the UK you have to choose one thing to study for three years, but in the US you get to take your time choosing a major. We're happy to have her! Emma Watson says that even after school she will continue her acting career, and I expect it won't be too difficult for her to do so.

As for her blooming career as an actress, I think that Emma Watson won't have a difficult time transforming out of her Hermoine image. She has already begun to do so and has been in a number of sexy and more adult photoshoots in magazines such as Elle. Though she is only nineteen, Emma Watson is very mature and has taken it upon herself to give off that kind of image. She truly does transform for the part of Hermoine Granger in Harry Potter. She graced the cover of Elle Magazine UK for August 2009 and does a fashion forward spread in which she looks absolutey stunning. In September 2008, when she was just 18 she did the cover and starred in the issue of Vogue Italia proving that she was not just Harry Potter's geeky best friend. There is definitely something to be said of an actress who matures on screen who still stays level headed and Emma Watson definitely has done that.

In recent interviews, as per the one with David Letterman, Emma Watson is composed, engaging, and extremely sexy. Letterman reveals a photo of her from the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince premiere in London in which she has experienced a wardrobe malfunction and her underpants are showing and Emma Watson reponds with a quick "At least I'm wearing underwear". Touche! Witty, charming and intelligent, Emma Watson is the whole package.

As far as growing up in front of the camera, it must not be too easy to become a "sex symbol" and go a little overboard. Look at what happened to the Olsen twins and Lindsay Lohan. Emma Watson looks healthy and respecful, yet she still comes off as sexy and will no doubt blossom into an amazing actress in no time. She's a fresh face in a pool full of unhealthy obsessive faces and that's one of the reasons why she will go far in this industry. Emma Watson, also for August 2009, is on the cover of Teen Vogue in which she looks simply adorable. She will be the face of Burberry in the fall of 2009. Her career is truly amazing and I'm so excited to see where Emma ends up next. No doubt she will become a beautiful young woman. I can't help wonder which role she'll take on after she finished with Harry Potter. I'm sure Emma Watson will have a long list to choose from, so here's to hoping she'll choose wisely!
